Booked for 2 rooms (5ppl) for the night for us to attend a wedding. Had.to book 2 rooms as *********** listed the family room to sleep 4 only for me to get there & find it could sleep 5. I asked to cancel the other room willing to pay the 50% cancellation fee. Manager was all over the place, sweating profusely & a bit vague in the head. Asked me to cancel through the app. During this process a call came through for him asking to book a room, claims he was booked out & then realised he can rebook my room, asking them to wait. My mistake was by paying with cash, a total of $370 (for both rooms) & he said once the booking is cancelled he will return me half the room. I waited near 2 hours by the pool with my kids to enter the room as a it was still being cleaned & to get ready for the wedding. During the afternoon the manager has brought an envelope containing $80 cash (half the room charge). Room was passable but only just. Later that week they charged me on my card back $70!!!!!! Therefore Ive paid the full charge for the full unused room! When broached about it through *********** the 'lady' on the other end claims 'Jeff' the manager has written he returned $100 to me in cash. A lie. Later down the conversation she then states it was $110. And that they couldn't rebook the room that night... Although when I returned from the wedding the light was on in the room & a car parked in its spot. Total rort!!!! They are liars & untrustworthy! Do not stay here....
