スウィントン パーク ホテル(Swinton Park)

From start to finish everything was perfect. Everyone made us feel so welcome, from the staff to our fellow guests. We had so many great conversations with such a diverse group of wonderful people. We had a complimentary room upgrade which was wonderful, we stayed for 2 nights in the Thirsk room; which was lovely, warm and comfortable. I would recommend the Champagne welcome package and late checkout, it was great to enjoy a chilled glass of champagne in our room as we got ready for dinner. We ate both nights at Samuel’s, which is in a stunningly decorated dining hall, the service was exceptional and the food was delicious. Breakfast both days was also at Samuel’s and it was really nice; great value. They have cooked and continental available and it was all good quality. I would have liked more sweet options on the menu, perhaps French toast or waffles. But that’s just nitpicking. There’s loads of activities you can join in to, we really enjoyed the cocktail tasting at the Terrace bar, where we acted as guinea pigs for new cocktail creations, it was a fun experience. The cocktails which we actually paid for were also very good. Likewise the cocktails at Samuel’s bar were also well made. The spa was amazing, I especially liked the Finnish sauna and outdoor hydrotherapy pool and hot tub. The outdoor pool is cold but just take the plunge! You will not regret it. The spa also has lovely outdoor beds, with warm blankets and a hot water bottle. Perfect to relax with a few drinks. There’s honesty just too much to say, the house itself is stunning, the grounds are gorgeous and I cannot wait to return again.

Brilliant stay as always staff very friendly and helpful . Grounds superb and rooms very clean . Feel very special when you stay there .

We have said here 4 times and have enjoyed it - lots to do and lovely facilities - the Spa is very well equipped and the treatments are wonderful. BUT we stayed in Low Swinton ( our 3 rd visit) and the cottage is looking very tired and in need of repair - the property was not especially clean and there was a lack of basic kitchen equipment. Not acceptable for a premium holiday let.

Thoroughly enjoyed the course and learnt a lot. Ian the course chef was excellent and all of the arrangements went like clockwork.

Brilliant from start to finish! Little touches such as arrival drink, welcome card and chocolates in the room. Amazing rooms, beautiful setting, fantastic staff! Couldn’t be better! No wonder Swinton was on Amazing Hotels of the World on TV, it totally deserves to be on there!

Fantastic accommodation and wonderful food and service in the restaurants. Will be back for another visit.

Fabulous stay, lovely spa, helpful happy staff. Dinner in the terrace was excellent. The room was big and beautiful. And there is loads to do. We didn’t this time at it was only a 1night stay. We are returning soon.

Stayed before heading to Grantly Hall for sons wedding daughters room lovely, ours was lovely but cold, they did bring heaters

We have visited swinton estate on many occasions we always have a great time with so much to see & do ...fabulous Spa to chill your cares away with a nice chilled glass of fizz or 2, This last visit was just extra special we decided to give the new concept of The Chefs table by Josh Barnes WoW 👌 what can we say about it well Outstanding for one a true gastronomic treat with such knowledge about every aspect of the product placed so beautifully in front of you with excellent wine to accompany each dish (thank you Matt) it really is such a treat to see the food your about to consume being cooked and prepared right in front of you , to be able to ask Josh about each dish is just fantastic I can't say my favourite dish as we enjoy every morsel including the fabulous wines if your looking for something different and love fine food this is definitely for you ....
