The staff were lovely, the best thing about the hotel. We had a dark room, a small window in the corner so even in the day you had to have lights on to read. Aircon really noisy. Totally wrong location for us, no outside space and a walk to Rizal Square to be able to sit in the sun. Restaurant not open so not able to get an alcoholic drink snd who wants to eat dinner in a cafe! Our experience of “dinner “was dire, chips cold, chicken greasy, burger mush and salad covered in pink sauce! Breakfast terrible, cold, you either have an iffy glass of “juice” or a coffee, not both. You can have hard boiled eggs but not poached eggs. Service terrible, plates cold, butter frozen, water warm, evrry day had to ask for condiments even for sugar.

A great hotel, very clean, nice, good quality mattress, sheets, towels and all the goodies any American tourist will feel at home. We booked the Deluxe king size bed and we received a beautiful room on the 5th floor. We were asked to pay additional 500 pestos for 2-3 hours early check in which was unnecessary to get a little more out of us but, after a long journey, we just paid it. The room was big, really big and I think the A/C BTU is not enough for such a big room. But, all in all it was a great stay in a wonderful hotel with wonderful people.

The room was small the bathroom was even smaller. You couldn’t even navigate the bathroom well. The breakfast took so long to cook. I think they could have done better to make the stay comfortable. Maybe next time it might be better.

Very clean hotel. They provide a welcome.drink during check-in process. Upon entering room, free banana bread from their cafe was provided. I was also provided a slice of cheesecake for an evening snack. Their attention to details was appreciated, was provided with the weather forecast for the following day. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again if visiting Taglibaran!!

The staff are very accomodating. The food is excellent. And the room is clean with high quality gyud. Bisan tissue high quality. Worth the price pd

i like everrything at Sweet Home Cafe except that their breakfast is served late.
