My mother who is 74 yrs old walked in & reserved a room for her & her sister last February for a stay on August 10 until the 14th . However, her sister can no longer travel due to health issues & thus the reason why we need to cancel the room. My family tried to discuss this with the hotel (personally & via phone) & get the refund or at least a meal voucher but the person that they have spoken to ALWAYS refused & said that it cannot be cancelled NOR get a refund & the only possibility is a re-booking, which again is no longer needed as my mom just lives in the same area. The only document that we received regarding the reservation fee/down payment of php 2,000 given last February, stated NO information or whatsoever that the reservation cannot be cancelled nor refunded. My mother was not even verbally notified or whatsoever about any cancellation policy. So to be able to not cancel & have a refund nor even just a meal voucher to be spent at your hotel restaurant is just NOT ACCEPTABLE. I tried to again contact the hotel twice via email to find a solution but until now, no reply from their side. In conclusion, BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL! DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE as you will never get your money back even if you were not informed of any cancellation policy.
