グランド ホテル ミラマーレ(Grand Hotel Miramare)

Location is great, you can walk from there to the city center, take the cable car to go to the beach. And the pool is fantastic. The view from the room is stunning. Parking is available but not really cheap (20€ a day). Breakfast is a ‘continental’ one. I wish they included more typical Sicilian products on top of the international eggs and bacon. Also the toilets are extremely noisy, you’ll hear your neighbour flushing the toilet. All in all a pleasant stay

Lovely hotel, and friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has a great aspect with views of the sea . Nice big room and bathroom and we sat on the terrace most mornings to enjoy a buffet breakfast . Pool great and friendly pool and restaurant staff. Location is within a 10 minute walk into Taormina and is really convenient for the coach station to the airport

Our stay was very nice, hotel convenient but it needs to be kept cleaner. Hallways were not so clean, shower was in the bathtub so very inconvenient for older people. We were beneath the dining room, so chairs were being pulled out from tables making the room noisy. The breakfast was very satisfying. The staff were friendly and helpful. Just the hotel cannot be considered a “Grand” hotel. That era has passed

Hotel Miramare provides beautiful views of the coast of Taormina. Very close to sights, shopping and restaurants. The room was somewhat old-fashioned, but nice. However, there was a funny smell on the floor where we were staying.

The location and views are amazing! Easy walk into town for shopping, sightseeing and dinner. Delicious breakfast included with your stay. Friendly staff.

This is an old hotel in need of serious updating. The view is 4 stars. Note that access to the pool is many many flights of stairs down.

Hotel review, this hotel has great bones and you can tell it has gloomier history. The pool is run down, the tennis courts are also in a need of a major renovation the hotel is desperate fir it needs a total makeover/ renovation. The location is amazing and the view is breathtaking very closed to town. I really hope someone will fix this hotel. That been said stuff are very nice, breakfast was also very good.

The Grand Hotel Miramare is a very nice hotel and is well located, we have stayed at the hotel twice. The first time was six years ago and it was excellent in so many ways, however, six years on and it’s become average. The rooms have not been updated at all, they have become dated and very tired, particularly the en-suite condition and facilities. Black mould and a black drain hole in the bath / shower isn’t very appealing, plus I our room the shower head height adjus**ent was broken so was at the lower part of the travel bar so was too low to use as a shower at above head height. It was fixed by putting the head at the highest setting using electrical insulation tape to stop it slipping down, but then no ability to move the shower head down. Breakfast was good, but average rather than excellent. Overall disappointing this time around and not to the standard expected of a four star hotel. A four star hotel should be excellent in such areas.
