L'albergo è in fase di ristrutturazione, quindi c'erano alcuni disagi connessi con i lavori in corso che, tuttavia, non hanno penalizzato i buoni servizi offerti.

The hotel was undergoing a lot of upgrading and we were placed into the older half of the hotel. The whole hotel is being brought up to modern standards and when finished will be fantastic. Unfortunately we booked a long time before the hotel was taken over and subsequently were disappointed with the rooms. However the management not only apologised they refunded the costs of our rooms. The staff at the reception and in the dining room were exceptional (i regret that I cannot remember the names of the gentlemen but hopefully they will recognise themselves). Basically if the upgrades are up to the same standard as the renovated part and the exceptional staff, the hotel will be well worth your visit.

There was new building and old building. I was there for old one. It was clean all. But I saw big difference

Under construction.. our room was new and nice but there was a step ladder in the shower when we arrived. Not super friendly at check in. Housekeeping missed replacing toilet paper , leaving any Kleenex, replacing dirty glasses, no wash clothes, had to ask for spare toilet paper as they were very small rolls.the shower was great but took at least 5 minutes to get warm water. the restaurant was again under construction which was fine great ocean view, very slow service for food and drinks. Very noisy location, can walk to things. Looks like it will be very nice once finished next year, need to work on staffing to meet the demand of the hotel. 3/5 stars

First, the staff, Especially Gabriella and was fantastic. Very accommodating and informative. 5 stars for them! the hotel itself though leaves a bit to be desired. Half of it is under construction and there is a lot of associated noise. The rooms that are available are pretty dated and cramped. Acceptable though. Be aware the photos are staged in a way to show only the best angles and perspectives, so not really accurate.

Stayed here for business for a couple of nights as part of a large group. It was not a great hotel and a lot of our group were unhappy with this property. It's a medium rise on the waterfront - the waterfront here is a working container port and what seems to be anItalian Navy port. Not what you generally think of when you say waterfront. The hotel checking was fine and the staff were nice. However...... Major renovations going on / one elevator working out of 2 and sometimes that one was an issue / really lacklustre breakfast options / swimming pool unusable. I can see why they're renovating - everything about this hotel seems old and dated - but you're not in a resort / holiday area. The room was an ok size, the wi-fi worked, but a bit slow. The room could be made nice and dark (good curtains) and the view of the bay was still a nice water view. There's many other old looking hotels all around this area and I don't thin this is the only one in this state of repair. There is a great Pizza place right across the road. The Old Town of Taranto is a 20min walk away and it's well worth is with great photo ops and plenty of bars / restaurants that seems to all be reasonably priced. Maybe this hotel will be OK when they finish renovations, but it's not in a very touristy area.

The shower was not working in our room. Unacceptable at any accommodation. Breakfast would have been OK for a two star roadside motel in the US but unacceptable for a four star hotel in Italy. The whole hotel is seriously rundown. Two positive things: seaview from half of the rooms and free parking. Avoid this hotel.

I have been using regulrly this hotel in the last couple of years for family breaks in Taranto. Former reviewers have commented that a renovation is now overdue and I confirm that they have a point. However, the hotel maintains the charme of its good old times thanks to the friendliness of the staff - and of course the spectacular position facing the Mar Grande. The restaurant deserves a special mention: young chef Giovanni knows perfecly well how to prepare delicious fish and seafood, and Ciccio and Maria really take good care of you while you dine. Bravissimi! Frankly, I would not go anywhere else while in Taranto,

Well we were a litlle but frightened when arrived in Tararanto the hotel is a bit old … but the view is beautiful and all the staff is so kind . We had to move for a water problem and they solved it with a beatiful room . I asked for peach and they went to choose the sweetest ones ! They have a master in cappuccinos and all coffees so king and in a yellow uniform ( a star) I will go back . For the staff!
