NNoppasornLast night I landed late and checked in at 1.00am. When I arrived at the hotel, a tall European male staff asked me “who are you” and was very unfriendly. I didn’t want to cause any trouble so I talked to him nicely. I came with my boyfriend and my bag. Anyone who saw me would know that I was a tourist. After entering the hotel, he checked me in for more than 40 minutes and couldn’t find my booking. He behaved very badly throughout the check-in process and even charged me even though I had already paid on the Tip.com app. in the morning , at 8.55am in the morning, he opened my bedroom. It was a terrible day in Georgia. He made me feel suspicious and unsafe here. Please let the hotel handle this matter with this person. Because this man’s behavior is very unsafe for tourists. Or is it because he sees me as Asian, so he bullies me?
Your hotel is a very good hotel. I don't think your hotel should be ruined by people behaving in such an unsafe way towards customers.
The first night I was hoping to relax and start my Christmas break, but the first time I encountered something bad like this. I am very disappointed and sad.
ゲゲストThis place deserves a lot of credit for doing things a bit differently. The design features and floor plan are quite special. We loved some of the details like the record player and projector with streaming access. But once you look closer it is a little rough around the edges for the price that we paid.
Service was also very hit and miss. When we arrived, no one greeted us, instead staff was talking to each other and looked confused when we said we wanted to check-in. In Tbilisi, we had no problem with communicating in English, but the staff here had trouble communicating with us several times. In general, they were friendly though and took time to show us the room.
When we ordered a drink through the room service from the bar downstairs, it came in a flimsy plastic cup that was only have full.
Also be aware, that the window is towards the courtyard where there is a restaurant and bar that closes late and draws some pretty noisy crowds.
The location is great, though, and we did enjoy our stay here. With a little more attention to detail, this would be a great place!
ゲゲストThe location is good. It is in the old district. By 10 minutes walk, you can go to a main metro station. The breakfast is good and the room is spacious.

Cons: I saw other images different than the reality when I booked the hotel. There was a lot of dust (the telephone in the photo was already cleaned) so due to my allergy - but also for a medium standard of cleanings - , I had to clean when I entered in the room with some specific products fortunately I had with me. In addition to this, there were a lot of rusty taps and they should be changed/ clean with a specific cleaning product. The carpet was dirty as well as the bed decorations as in the photo. In this case, I suggest to remove ruined things to make the room cleaner. The last thing I didn’t appreciate was the fact that at the reception I had some language barrier problems speaking in English. Some people known English well, but not everybody and this is a sort of problem if you have to give info at the reception. I’m not happy to give this review but I hope this will be inspiring to have a better cleaning’s standard and happier guests.

We stayed at Hotel Shine Palace for 2 nights and overall had a comfortable experience. The room was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The twin beds were comfortable, and basic amenities were in place.
The hotel being alcohol-free and offering private parking was a big plus for us. It's ideal for families or travelers who prefer a quiet and respectful environment. The on-site restaurant was convenient, though the menu could use a bit more variety.
The check-in and check-out process was smooth. Staff were polite and responsive, though some improvement in English communication would enhance the guest experience for international travelers.
Great value for the price (AED 198.86 for 2 nights), especially considering the location and overall cleanliness. Would recommend it for short stays or business travelers looking for a quiet, budget-friendly option.
Suggestions: Adding more lighting in the room and offering complimentary water bottles would be a nice touch.
