"The pre stay communication with the venue was helpful in arranging a time for arrival. On arrival I was made to feel really welcome and after discussing my preference for time of breakfast the following morning I was shown to my room. I was in room 4, which was up a short flight of stairs and on the first landing. The room was perfect, lovely size, clean and fresh smelling. The whole decor of the venue was very clean and welcoming. The room had a lovely view of the sea which is literally across the road and behind the sea wall. The sound of the waves were so calming and relaxing. The room had plenty of storage space, a well sized wardrobe and additional drawers. The en suite bathroom was very spacious with a shower unit. I liked the added touch of boiled sweets that came with the usual tea and Coffee sachets and milk, the crunchy biscuits were delicious too. The breakfast was faultless, I had a lovely pot of tea and a full English breakfast but there were so many variations of what was available, covering all dietary requirements. I would definitely recommend the venue, I travelled by train and the location was only a short walk from Teignmouth train station."
