ソンダー アット ミル アベニュー(Sonder — Mill Ave)

The apartment was super cute. However, it looked cute, but wasn’t comfortable. The bed was uncomfortable as was all the seating. But the biggest issue were the blinds. There were not blackout and there was a giant lighted Chase Bank sign across the street that glared into the bedroom and living room. Also the apt. faced east and the sunrise came right in and woke us up each morning. It made our stay uncomfortable and I would not choose Sonder again.

Should have laundry detergent pods and salt and pepper. Some additional cooking items like additional pans.

Pros: Location In unit washer/dryer Cons: No on site staff to assist with issues Terrible call center “support” when you need something Basic room features either missing or broken ( i.e. balcony door wouldn’t open, no remote for tv, no overhead lights in the bedrooms) Parking isn’t included, it’s $25/day extra They had a “maintenance man” enter our room while we were away for the day without our knowledge or consent to drop off the missing tv remote When we arrived, the pin for the door to the unit wasn’t working, so we had to wait on hold with their terrible call center for 45 minutes before they could finally reset it and let us into our room

Very hard to navigate for a first time. Tv impossible to work, micro locked took forever to unlock, no coffee pot took hours for a response & when they finally responded they said they would drop one later in evening which they did the machine forgetting the coffee pot. Washer smelt moldy & dryer kept turning off while drying clothes. No proper lighting in unit & sliding door broke very hard to unlock & lock. Garbage overflown for the days we were there by pool area. Never emptied. Loved the property would never stay in that unit again.

I we very unhappy with the cleanliness of the room. We also looked directly out to a parkade, that lead to zero privacy, because cars were parked RIGHT in front of us, with their lights shining directly into our room. Plus the carpet was full of stains, as well as the rug looked as though it had feces on it. It was also an extremely dark, with no ceiling lights in living space/bedroom. It was also quite difficult to check in/find the lock box with the fobs. Plus there was no option to have a second fob, therefore, not allowing ANY of the tenants to separate. We did like that the Whole Foods was directly below us.

I loved how much more room that we had compared to a regular hotel room. We also loved being able to park our car in a parking garage. There were so many places and restaurants that we could walk to.

There were no overhead lights in bathroom, bedroom or living area. Only floor lamps in bedroom and living area and light around the mirror in bathroom and over the tub. Very dark in rooms. However, there is an all night CHASE sign across from the bedroom which is extremely bright and kept us awake. Had I been in a hotel with a front desk, I would have asked to change rooms It was very difficult to sleep. The cleaning service left the previous renter's clothing in a bag on the couch. Obviously there was no walk through by the leasing company which would have removed the worn clothing. We liked the location and parking, but this unit was not good for us to stay in.

I loved everything about the property. I only thing I would have liked more is if TV wasn't only available streaming through apps - don't watch TV on my phone so didn't want to load apps only to watch during my stay.
