Very nice, easy check in.only down side is it's an extra 100.00 a day for pets to stay.

Terribly rude staff. No one answers the phone when u call but they can sit outside and smoke cigarettes. I couldn’t even get a receipt on check out and apparently they don’t know how to send it via email. I will never be back. Reported the issues to Marriott and the BBB.

Everything went well. Property was nice and clean. Easy in and out. Liked the location, near the interstate but not loud, and also right next to a residential area. Saw deer in the morning near the wooded area. Stayed three nights, no problems at all. Will stay there again.

The room needed a little maintenance. Floor is pealing up in the bathroom and the toilet paper roll was ripped off. Otherwise it was a good room. Staff was excellent. It did appear to be clean.

Lovely hotel with friendly English speaking staff

First time we stayed there it was good. Staff was more attentive and room nicer than the 2nd time when we found that the room had not been vacuumed and there were crumbs from a prior guest. They also do not make up the room every day. I had asked at the front desk whether they would make up the room each morning and was told that would occur, but it did not. Common areas need a bit of touch up. Sometimes coffee not available. Will try Residence Inn next time.

We stayed here for 5 nights. We appreciated meeting Rose L at the front desk. She made every effort to make sure we had our needs met. Her kindness made our stay good. There were also other employees that were welcoming and very accommodating.

Our family stopped here en route to South Padre Island. All of our needs were met sufficiently. We were a little concerned when a train passed by shortly after we checked in but we didn't hear more during the night. It appears the hotel caters to railroad personnel since they were the only other guests we saw at breakfast and there were a large number of them. The breakfast was semi-self serve with an employee dishing up the eggs and meat. I'm not quite sure of the thinking but perhaps it was a state or local requirement. I want to specifically mention the morning desk clerk Leslie who went out of her way to provide a special service for me. We would stop her again if it fit into our plans.

Received rude service at check in.Surprised that we could not check in until they had a room. She stated 3pm was their policy and that's when we could check in. I asked to simply check in and then be notified when room was ready. Told she could not do that. Head of housekeeping trying to help us, went up and checked, they had a room so we got in. Received no paperwork and had to repeat my info several times to her. We thought this was the best accommodation in town for we wanted a nice, peaceful place for we were in for a funeral. It was the worst stay we have ever had in any hotel.
