A beautiful setting around the pool area, with palm trees and a tropical feel. We had a room with a jacuzzi on the terrace looking over the pool. Rooms a comfortable with everything you need. Staff very helpful and the food in the restaurant was very good. A little out of town so you need a car or taxis to move around. Would recommend

Upon arrival at the hotel, the room was not as expected, probably because of the inconsistency between them and the online platform provider, the room they gave me was not quite the same as the one on top of the picture. But the hotel service staff was very nice and immediately changed the room to match our requirement. And sent us drinks and spa, the hotel was quiet and the food was ok. Overall it was good.

We unexpectedly had to stay in Moraira for a few days and were looking for a hotel. We ended up at Swiss Hotel Moraira. It looked reasonable on booking so we thought we would take this hotel, it was the only hotel that still had availability. However, we couldn't find two rooms next to each other via Booking so we called the hotel. Here we told them that we wanted to stay for three nights with 3 young children. We got two rooms, later they called to say that a mistake had been made and we would get a suite and a room, because there was nothing else. Upon arrival, the manager's face immediately turned half past six, not a single smile or a single friendly expression. We did not even receive any explanation from the Hotel and were only given the key to the room, we had to ask for everything ourselves. This was already a special experience. Everything went with a lot of effort, pool towels were a discussion, did we really need 5? Yes, there are five of us, so please. The guests at the swimming pool looked at us like, what are you doing here with 3 children? We were at the pool for two hours a day, we were looked away, and we also said shhh to our children, just take it easy, don't play. Hello, let children aged 4-7 act like adults on holiday. Not healthy. Not much later the manager came to tell us that the guests were not happy with our children, they were playing. DON'T BOTHER! My wife and I were celebrating a Birthday and decided to stay at Hotel Swiss, which turned out to be a big mistake. The room was clean, apart from the floor and the hot tub was clean and warm. The staff were polite ( we only saw a lady behind reception and a waiter) . HOWEVER... I can honestly say that I have never been served such poor quality food and in such parsimonious quantity in all my life. Not in a restaurant or a hotel in any Country. To elaborate, we were served 4 lamb chops that were overcooked and had hardly an ounce of meat on them. We went to bed feeling very hungry and eagerly awaited a decent breakfast.......NO... We were given some bread rolls etc but when a hot breakfast arrived it was two runny fried eggs and a single thin piece of bacon with one very small piece of toast.What? No toast rack! It was as if the Chef had gone home for winter holidays and someone else, without any catering experience had stepped in for him. Very disappointed and our £300 could have been well spent elsewhere, in a hotel with reasonable catering staff.

Don’t just look at higher reviews, there are some, but scroll down and check out the bad reviews. The poor reviews reveal consistency of problems, poor quality and standards and poor attitude of staff. If you could find any staff, they were morose and Manager extremely unhelpful and aggressive. Beyond attractive entrance facade, Health & Safety major issue. Booked room with large terrace and a pool view several months in advance - didn’t get either. Air conditioning leaked all over floor. Moved room - hairdryer exploded. Cracked tiles bathroom. No Guest Information. Couldn’t ring Reception. No Fire / Emergency Advice on doors or visible. No snacks with drinks - bar man said “owner is very mean”. No pool service. Pool full of insects - no evident filtration - just a man with a net. Breakfast served in the ‘bowel’s’ of the hotel - when you eventually find it as no signage it is oppressive and depressing. Limited and poor quality food - fruit and limited cold meats and cheese appeared to have been prepared some time in advance. No fresh bread - white sliced. Booked for 9day stay but afterwards 2 days - checked out - very aggressive Manager - charged me approximately £600 for privilege

Such a wonderful and luxurious stay. All the staff were so warm, welcoming and friendly. The junior suite was very clean and spacious with a balcony with a gorgeous view. The breakfast was delicious, again with a beautiful view. The pool area setting was really relaxing and the location of the hotel was great. We were brought glasses of cava when we arrived as a birthday gift which was such a lovely touch. We will definitely be back again when staying in the area!!

This hotel could be 5 star but just isn’t quite there. We came with friends who know the area well and have stayed before. The hotel looks great and is nicely decorated inside. The outside space is absolutely lovely with lots of greenery, different sitting places and nice decor. Rooms are spacious and well cleaned. The staff are very friendly and helpful. But …… for the price you pay I’d expect more. The dinner menu is quite limited though well presented and cooked. But there’s no lunch menu! This doesn’t encourage people to stay round the pool. And if you’re there for a few days, gets boring. Our room wasn’t cleaned till 3pm the 1st day, I think that’s late. Glasses and wine bucket from the night before not cleared away from outside the room. The Wi-Fi is really inconsistent, my husband was continually unable to connect.
