Hotel Osel

I booked this hotel for the spa and sauna but it was under renovation but was still being advertised. It's more expensive than other hotels and I can't understand why.

Very good location. Staff very much friendly, soft spoken and cooperative that's why very good atmosphere of hotel. Rooms are neat and cleaned. Very good worth to live here. Outstanding atmosphere.

Excellent hotel, excellent staff, excellent rooms, very clean and comfortable with a good bf provided. The location is so central and a view of Buddha on a hill lock is awesome. The ambience is so serene and good with positive energy. The interiors are classy, it's a 14 year old hotel well maintained. Sangje is so helpful , courteous and full of enthusiasm. A special word of praise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and explored Thimphu. Thank you Team Osel!!!

Location of the hotel, the food and the staff were very good, always ready to do whatever is asked and with smile without expecting any tips. Food was excellent. Since my wife didn’t take food with onion and garlic, they took special care to make her food as per order and serve hot in the table. The front desk staff was very pleasant and very helpful to guide about the things we asked. Though all were good I would like to mention few names Mr Tshewong, Sanjita and Tshering. I would highly recommend this hotel for staying in Thimpu. Its value for money

Very comfortable stay. Good food. Friendly staff. Buddha statue View from the room. Bathtub is available. Creamy chicken soup is must try. I would recommend to stay at osel if you ar going to Thimphu. City center is walkable from the hotel. Just ask for room with Buddha statue view at the top floor. Perfect for the vacation. Wi-Fi can be improved

Reviewing basing on this being a 4star hotel. Stayed here for one night. The hotel is not a ‘modern style’ hotel but that is probably not something you want when traveling to Bhutan. It’s feels a little dated and the corridors is dimly lighted. Regarding the room and facilities I would say it’s ok . But service wise, it’s fantastic . Especially in the restaurant during breakfast and dinner. The food can run out pretty fast due to a tour group. But the service staff are attentive, friendly and generally provide very good service .

Lovely location with a good view of parts of Thimpu. The hotel is beautiful and include tasteful furnishings. The dinner menu is varied, so there are lots of options for dinner. Spacious and comfortable room with nice dècor. Friendly and helpful staff. I'd stay there again.

It was awesome room view and service. Food was also good they provide what we require according to it. Location is very good and center of city. Good restaurants to enjoy near by all the places. They have bath tub in the rooms that is bit small for couples but good.

A tidy hotel if a lot underused. We were only one of about 3 groups staying the night. The hotel is close to the centre of Thimphu and within easy walk. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean tidy and comfortable with all facilities required
