Great hotel near to main town. If you want to explore the town this hotel is centrally located just infront of national stadium. Staff is professional & food is awesome. Highly recommended. They are always ready to help you. Beds were kept cold with electrict heaters that helped us keep warm.

Nice ambiance, friendly staffs, good food and the view from the room is amazing. One of the best hotel in the Bhutan. Enjoyed the stay! Wifi service can be better.😊

The location is ideal for meditation retreat. The staff are friendly, more than anything they are so efficient to the task they do. They contributed to make my wakefulness retreat a success.

We stayed at Lemon Tree Resort, Thimphu during our recent visit to Bhutan and we enjoyed our stay so much! The two rooms we had were spacious, spotless, comfortable offering a fantastic view of the surrounding hills and part the Thimpu town! The entire resort is big with huge dining halls and seminar rooms and many other amenities! The resort stuff was so attentive and caring specially Jing Me, Pema and Chokey. My very special thanks to wonderful GM of this wonderful resort Mr. Nayan! Would love to stay there again and recommed to everybody! ❤️❤️

During my visit for the purpose of the Wakefulness program, I must say this resort is truly a wonderful place — both in terms of the people who work here and the serene surroundings. The General Manager is a genuinely kind-hearted and spiritual person. For our program, he generously provided two halls free of charge and gave us a significant discount on food and service charges — something I have never experienced at any other resort or venue. This is the first time I have met someone so understanding and compassionate. Not only that, the chef was also incredibly kind. He went beyond our orders and prepared many additional side dishes. The food was exceptionally delicious, and we received many compliments on the taste. Every tea session over the five days featured a variety of different snacks, each one well thought-out and delicious. Interacting with the entire team was a pleasure. All the staff were polite, well-mannered, and made us feel completely at ease. I must say, if you are planning to conduct any kind of program, I highly recommend this resort — everything here was just perfect.

Our stay was absolutely mesmerizing! I visited with my family, so we were looking for a comfortable family-friendly option. We booked a 2 BHK villa room that was perfect for four of us, including two spacious bedrooms, a hall, and a lovely gallery with a sitting area. Both rooms had bathtubs and were stocked with every amenity we could think of. A special shoutout to Ismita, who helped us with the booking. She was incredibly helpful, ensuring we got the best room that suited our needs perfectly. She also shared local guide details, which made our sightseeing smooth and hassle-free. Each room, including the bathrooms, was equipped with a heater—perfect for chilly evenings. The entire property maintained the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene—fresh linens, spotless bathrooms, and sanitized common areas gave us complete peace of mind. I was especially impressed by their hospitality—the staff was warm, courteous, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The lemon-themed body lotion they provided was such a delightful touch! The food was delicious. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, including a Jain menu, and they even made fresh parathas on request. I truly fell in love with the property and the overall experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting—and do go for the villa room if you’re with family. It’s absolutely worth it!
