Econo Lodge Painted Post - Corning

Owners and staff are very nice. "Hot Breakfast" used to be scrambled eggs, sausag, maybe bacon, variety of instant oa**eal, but is now really only waffles and that is it. Rooms are clean. Ours had lamps on one end, but none on the other, so it was dark on that end and hard to see during the evening. The fridge was set to "Max" so the first night our liqjids froze. One side of the bed had provision for a CPAP, none on the opposite.

Front desk staff, rarely seen. Repairs next to my room = noise. No idea hours for continental breakfast. Worse continental breakfast I have had. Bed sheet had a stain. Computer chair had stains. The worse pillows I have slepted on, hard as a rock, I struggled to sleep well both nights. Toilet had a green stain in the inside, at the bottom. Friendly staff, quite besides the repairs. Good location in my opinion, close to food and highway.

Room was very clean. Everything looked newly updated. Breakfast wasn’t the best, the waffles mix was watered down. They had apples, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, oa**eal, coffee, tea milk and water.

We have stayed at this hotel for years. The subtle changes over the last couple of years-especially since covid-have been disappointing. Breakfast is very limited, no popcorn or cookies in the afternoons, no updating...on a happier note: the honesty and integrity of the staff does NOT go unnoticed and we will continue to stay here.

the room we had checked in got problem with the toilet flushing system, management have our room changed immediately.

The room/property was very clean. This is good option if you are looking for an affordable place to stay in the area. Multiple restaurants and stores with 5 minutes of drive. The breakfast was below average and can use improvement.

Tired hotel with very few people staying there. Seems like one person works there and lives there. She was pleasant and manages the best anyone could. Was a bit of a surprise weird experience.

Great value, convenient to downtown Corning, NY, modern amenities and very clean! The staff was hard working, friendly and very helpful.

We were impressed by how nice everything was at this hotel. The front desk woman who we checked in with was exceptionally nice! Thank you, we’ll be back again!
