The hotel was very quiet whilst we were there. There are only a few rooms and each is accessible from outside so you have no need to use the reception or other facilities necessarily. The rooms are large and spacious and have everything needed. Parking is a little awkward but available. Breakfast was ok - but not amazing. Highly recommended for the town it is in.

We stayed for 2-nights in late-Sep at Las Terrazas Hotel Boutique in Tilcara ($103 Can/night). The hotel, located off a dirt road in a quiet residential area 4-blocks from the central plaza, is nestled in a green wooded oasis at the base of the mountain. The hotel cascades down the slope in a series of terraces, the bottom terrace housing reception, one of the middle terraces with the small pool, and the upper terrace with the breakfast area. Our superior double room was spacious with a queen bed and side tables, table with 2 chairs, and a separate dressing area with a closet, shelves, mini-refrigerator, sink and vanity. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower. The room was fronted by a wide, gravel patio with a couple of chairs. Although we were on the lower-middle terrace, we still had a view around the trees of the mountains across the valley. From what we could see, the upper terrace rooms were also somewhat obstructed by the tall trees, so the terrace level didn't seem to matter much for the view, and the top levels required a bit of an arduous high altitude climb with luggage. The was a small infinity pool with views of the trees, but had only 4 loungers, and the water was cloudy, indicating poor maintenance. Breakfast was basic, ham, cheese, baked items, juices; there were eggs, but you had to know to ask for them, and there was mate tea to help cope with the altitude. The hotel had parking at the entrance, and in a lot to the side. While the hotel was beautifully designed and maintained, and our room was spacious and comfortable, it was the staff, and especially the lady at the front desk, who made our stay special. When the area lost power on the morning that we were leaving, it prevented us from getting vital information about our accommodation for that night. She went way beyond what we could have expected to help us and sent us on our way with everything we needed. Great customer service, great hospitality, and all at a very reasonable price. This is the place to stay in Tilcara!

O hotel é um charme, parece um oásis no meio do deserto! Os apartamentos parecem recém reformados, com um decoração de muito bom gosto, banheiro amplo, smart-tmb e um vista linda para as montanhas! Pessoalmente o hotel é muito mais bonito e bem cuidado do que pelas fotos que encontramos pela internet! Foi uma grata surpresa! Iríamos ficar duas noites mas tivemos uma emergência e tivemos que ir embora antes do previsto, tivemos um desconto de quase 100 dólares pela noite que não dormiríamos no hotel. Ficamos muito felizes pela sensibilidade! Alguns pontos poderiam melhorar! Nossa entrada era pelo estacionamento superior, que tem uma entrada bem precária e o nosso carro quase atolou! Uma obra rápida melhoraria muito o acesso! O café da manhã é bastante simples e, apesar de saboroso, as opções são bastante restritas. Não havia sequer uma opção de proteína como ovos mexidos. No geral o hotel cumpre muito mais do que promete e com certeza ficaria hospedado novamente em uma próxima oportunidade!

Excelente lugar. Muy bien ambientado y con una ubicación excelente en Tilcara. Cerca del centro y de la salida a la ruta. La vista de las habitaciones es hermosa. Las habitaciones son super cómodas y amplias y la atención del personal es excelente. El desayuno es muy completo, atendido por Leo con la mejor de las ondas y unos consejos espectaculares para encarar los días y las excursiones. Volvería a venir sin dudarlo. Hermosa la zona de la quebrada.!!!!! Un sueño!!!

Nos alojamos en la habitación Deluxe. Súper cómoda, amplia, luminosa. Buena calefacción. No le doy 5 puntos porque no tienen servicio de cafetería. La cocina recién abre a las 20:00 hs y si llegas de una excursión con ganas de merendar tranqui en el hotel no es posible. El personal muy amable y servicial

Fuimos con la expectativa de pasar unas vacaciones de disfrute y relax pero desafortunadamente vivimos una experiencia mala en muchos aspectos. La atención del personal en un hotel que se supone es boutique y exclusivo fue pésima. Carecen de amabilidad, gentileza y buena predisposición. La única respuesta que prevalece es no. La persona más simpática es la que está en el Área de desayuno. El hotel ofrece room Service. Tienen 4 platos pero solo 2 disponibles. Te llevan la comida a la habitación en la mano, traen los platos de entrada al mismo tiempo que el principal. Pedimos vino y no llevaron copas, cuando las requerimos nos respondieron usen los vasos del frigobar. Las instalaciones son lindas pero no se disfrutan por que la atención no está acorde al nivel de las instalaciones.
