I truly enjoyed my visit, the bathroom may be a little outdated but super clean and was everything I needed. Breakfast included ! Brekky was brought to our table, including hot toast! Definitely visiting again!

No frills, breakfast was served rather than self serve which was a welcome surprise. Staff were lovely.

Place could use some renovations. Walked 2 streets to get some food and was greeted by a crack head yelling in the middle of the street. Staff was nice. One elevator was out of commission with both doors open exposing the cinderblock wall

Terrible staff, not accomodating at all and lots of issues. Will not book at this hotel ever again.

I felt soo unsafe at all the time.. during my stay. Hotel told us not to keep anything visible in car as they have some incidents where people break glass of your car to take stuff. Also, hotel itself is not in good condition. We couldn't use shower as water was dirty. I have made a video of it as well. Will complaint to *******..

The service was friendly, but the hotel's maintenance is poor. The receptionists and the breakfast staff were very helpful. They showed genuine dedication to their guests' well-being, and they tried their best to accommodate my needs. The breakfast food was also plentiful and delicious. Unfortunately, there were multiple issues with the conditions of the room: 1) There were holes in the window frames, which allowed flies to come into the room. This happened very often, and it was very distracting. The receptionist told me that flies are common in the fall in Timmins, but I wish that the maintenance staff does a better job of sealing those cracks. 2) There were liners (mats) in the drawers of the cabinet and thee nightstand; those liners were all old and peeling off the surface. I reported this to the receptionist, and a technician did repair the liners in my cabinet. Unfortunately, the liners in the nightstand were left unrepaired. 3) There were also minor bits of debris in the drawers upon check-in, so I had to clean them by myself. 4) The carpets in the hallways and (to a lesser extent) in the rooms were old and had some stains. 5) The air conditioner did not work properly. I had to set the temperature far lower than desired to actually make it start cooling. The buttons simply did not function as labelled. There are only 2 hotels in that area of downtown Timmins, so you can pay a lot more money to go to Holiday Inn. The Senator is a lot cheaper.

People are very friendly, but location is poor, and the wifi is no existent unfortunately. Building is very tired and needs updating.

Go somewhere else , Staff is rude and the hotel is old. Many things are not repaired.
