Great stay, big descent room for my family, big breakfast, really in good location. It looks old outside but great inside. No complains!! Well done King Arthur’s Arms Inn!

King Arthur's Arms Inn is located in Tintagel. Tonight my Girlfriend and I went here to have a meal for my 50th Birthday. The surroundings are amazing, with olde stone walls, etched glass windows, shield embossed seating, a roaring log burner and a Knight standing guard over the proceedings! The food tasted lovely, the presentation was excellent and the portion sizes were very generous. You are not leaving here feeling hungry! The lady that served us was super helpful and friendly. The log burner was topped up a couple of times while we ate, so it was always throwing out heat and looking great! There is a great selection of food, many drinks on tap and plenty of seating. There is even an area outside to sit and eat / drink if you are brave enough at this time of year in the cold weather. We walked to the King Arthur's Arms Inn, but there is plenty of parking outside. Highly Recommended!

EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE. VERY FRIENDLY STAFF. MIX GRILL WAS THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD AND THE CHICKEN BURGER WAS EXCEPTIONAL. HIGHEST QUALITY OF PRODUCE. BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT TOO ! PRICES VERY REASONABLE.

Definitely gone down hill, been coming to this pub for years , food expensive and not good,lasagna burnt,no atmosphere, weird shied decoration on wooden door when there is a wall behind,. Waiting for sarcastic reply but as I worked in hotels all my life the customer is always right.

The staff was very welcoming, kind and helpful. The property is average. The room was hot and we were unable to open the windows to let in some cool air. We had wet clothing and were unable to figure out how to use the heated towel racks. The sheets were a bit scratchy and the pillows very uncomfortable.

Popped in for a few drinks and was served by a young man who didn't seem interested maybe because we were tourists Looking for a couple of double gins and he just went off and served somebody else offered no help at all. Sat at a table in this huge area of uninteresting surroundings. While there looked at the menu on the table and blimey looks like the dearest food in town 18 quid for lasagne or sausage and mash really. Browsed the wine and cocktail menu as well, 1 of which had the entire inside content missing the other we prised apart the sticky pages to find marker pens scribbling out old prices coloured paper covering up other things just no care. Probably the most uninspiring pubs we've ever been to. Now awaiting a sarcastic comment as the previous complaint has received because judging by that one clearly can't take criticism

We stayed in an accessible room which is on the perimeter of the main town car park. The room was exceptionally well equipped and enormous, but was so bland and soulless. Beds were not made up or room cleaned during our 2 night stay, though clean towels were offered. Breakfast for residents is only for one hour - 8.30 to 9.30 . Soon after 9.30 the staff started clearing away the buffet table and no refil hot drinks were offered.

We had wonderful stay. Everyone was very helpful. Our room was lovely. The food was great: we came back for dinner on multiple occassions as well as lunch because of all the delicious options. It is the perfect location to easily explore the town, the hikes and the castle grounds.

Absolutely great place to stay. Room was extremely clean, large, with two bedrooms. Large living area with electric fireplace. Linens clean and fluffy, beds comfortable. Sunny and spacious. Bathroom had a large shower with excellent water pressure. Breakfast was included at the pub. The pub serves great food, too, steak and ale pie was top notch. Parking is included with the price and is directly outside. They'll let you park before check-in and after check-out so you can explore the area. Tintagel Castle and Merlin's Cave are only a few minutes' walk away! You can also explore the town from here, lots of shops and restaurants. Brilliant place to stay and highly, highly recommended. We will stay again if in the area.
