Elmdene

Pre Xmas break at the lovely Elmdene The breakfast here are the best we have ever had ,the whole place is immaculate we keep coming back as we are so well looked after ,beds are so comfy and gorgeous linen , plenty free parking for all guests , can't wait to come back .

We stayed for a night as we visited a few attractions in the area. We easily walked to the seafront for some fish and chips. Trev and Kim were incredibly welcoming. There is clearly lots of thought and detail given to everything, also a brilliant breakfast. Excellent value overall and I would highly recommend as a place to stay if visiting Torquay or the surrounding area.

Yet again an excellent stay with Kim and Trevor who are great hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them! Sleep better in their beds than my own 😊 Great breakfast menu, omelettes are great and enough extras to choose from. Didn't need anything else until dinner time. Rooms are spotless! Definitely Will be going again.

Thank you Kim & Trev for another very comfortable stay and spoiling us with your delicious cream tea after our day out, your homemade scones are fabulous Kim, lovely surprise. Plenty of off road easy parking is brilliant when we arrive and your rooms are spotless and very spacious with everything we could possibly need, including fresh milk in the mini fridge is a lovely touch for hot drinks thank you. The bed was extremely comfortable, we slept so well. I really like your relaxing bar lounge area for a nightcap and sunny bay window in the morning. Breakfast was superb, the full English is huge and very tasty indeed, super sausages. Your location just a few minutes walk from the seafront is perfect for all the attractions, bars and restaurants around Torquay Harbour. Another great stay at the beautiful Elmdene. Kim and Trev are the best hosts and great friends. Nothing is too much trouble. The choice of breakfast menu is amazing. Rooms are immaculate and such comfy beds. The Elmdene is situated in a quiet area near to most amenities. Plenty of car parking. Definitely 5☆

We stayed here for the weekend and didn't want to leave. The hotel is absolutely spotless throughout. Kim and Trevor are the perfect hosts , very friendly and cater for your every needs. The breakfast was amazing and so many choices. When we left Kim and Trevor where there to see us off and gave us a freshly baked scone , jam and cream to enjoy on our way home , It was such a lovely touch and something we never imagined. It was delicious. We are returning to Torquay in September and will definitely be staying there , we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

Fabulous stay at The Elmdene. Kim & Trevor certainly know what they are doing, wonderful hosts. Room was extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean with little unexpected added extras. Breakfast was extremely good. We will definitely be back.

What a lovely guest house, Kim and Trev are fabulous hosts and really know how to look after their guests. The English breakfast was 10/10, nothing is too much trouble for them. We will definitely be staying at The Elmdene if we visit Torquay in the future

We visited Torquay for our Easter break and we could not have been happier for choosing The Eldmene! Our room (1) was spotless clean and has recently been refurbished. The shower was great too. Last but not least, Kim and Trevor were such lovely hosts! They gave us great recommendations of places to visit! They also surprised us with an Easter Egg in our room, which was a nice treat to find after a long day. Thank you so much, it has been a pleasure!
