A very friendly welcome from Paula and Ray, our room was large, immaculately clean, with a super comfy super king bed. The room appeared newly decorated with thick plush carpets, good curtains, excellent sound proofing from the road (which is not a busy one anyway) massive fluffy towels, rain head shower with good pressure and hot water on demand. Wifi was excellent as was the cooked breakfast, both meat and veggie versions. Really comfortable all round, the two girls serving breakfast were professional and friendly too. Location for us was perfect, slightly on the edge of the town but not so far it was a chore, the walk through the gardens and along the prom into the town centre was extremely pleasant. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I would definitely recommend The Grosvenor House.

Wow! What a gem of a place! Paula & Ray are wonderful hosts and nothing is ever too much trouble. Always greeted with warmth and smiles and a much appreciated cuppa! Grosvenor house is in a great location with just a short walk into town. There is a bus stop right outside for travelling further afield so there’s no need to even get your car out. Rooms are always very clean and comfortable and breakfast always cooked perfectly. Thank you to you both and the lovely staff you have for another wonderful stay. We highly recommend this guest house. Don’t stop doing what you’re doing. It’s why we love to come back time and time again!

What a fantastic B&B that made our few days in Devon great ! Paula and Ray are fantastic hosts and their B&B was clean , great breakfast and amenities- a great place to stay and one well truly recommend to our family and friends- 10/10 - thanks again !! Leyton

We have just returned from the Grosvenor House Hotel and what a wonderful place this is. The owners, Paula and Ray couldn’t have made us more at home… they really are brilliant hosts. Breakfast was excellent… cooked to perfection and lots of choice. We were in Room 1 . Large, clean and looking over the front of the hotel. When we next return to Torquay, it’s The Grosvenor where we will stay. Highly recommended Anne and Peter

Ray and Paula were very friendly and helpful. The rooms and guesthouse were very clean. The bed was a bit hard but otherwise our stay was excellent. Would stay again

We stayed at Grosvenor House for a couple of nights. The property is well kept and maintained. Only one thing I would say is we missed air-conditioning during the hot weather. Parking slots are very tight and if you have a new car and worry about someone banging their doors into your car body, be prepared to park somewhere else!

What a lovely place,nice and welcoming, the bed was just amazing,slept like a log all night,room totally blacked out and very quiet.Breakfast amazing and cooked to perfection with no fat,extensive menu, and amazing tasting coffee.very close to the harbour and easy access. Good parking too.Ray and Paula are amazing hosts,watching them talk to all the guests at breakfast is a nice little touch definitely going back

The Grosvenor House hotel is an ideally sited hotel in a reasonable quiet spot while still being close to most amenities, if you are using public transport to get about there is a bus stop near to the hotel and is not far from Torquay railway station. The hotel itself is a beautiful clean and well decorated house which is run by husband and wife team Ray and Paula who we found to be the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them, we have visited for a number of years and have never been disappointed, we cannot recommend the Grosvenor House enough.

Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast very good, not to far to walk to shop’s and sea front.
