ヴィラ マリーナ(Villa Marina)

My wife and have just spent a few lovely days with Vince and Erwan at the beautiful Villa Marina. The Villa is set in a quiet are of Torquay but within an easy walk of Torre Abbey and the sea front. The breakfast has good selection of food and all beautifully cooked. We have stayed here a number of times and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in the Torbay area.

We stayed for three nights. The level of service from the hosts was exceptional, they were always attentive but never intrusive. They provided a lot of useful information about things to see and do in the local area. A great deal of care has gone into the furnishing of the rooms and public areas, the colour schemes, art work and even the light fittings are delightful. The housekeeping standard is vey high -this is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Our bedroom was extremely comfortable, it was very quiet and the blackout curtains were effective. The bathroom was a good size with a large shower cubicle and good quality toiletries. The vegetarian breakfast was delicious, well cooked and beautifully presented. If you want to visit Torquay, this is the place to stay!

A really lovely place to stay in Torquay. Very comfortable beds, everything thought of, attention to detail was superb. I totally recommend this guest house. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly. We were sorry to have only spent one night! Could have stayed much longer

Villa marina is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are excellent and a really comfortable bed.Breakfast is perfect,made as you like it from a varied list .It is prepared and served by Vince and Erwin in a professional and friendly manner. We have stayed for 3 years running and would always stay there if we came to Torquay

Warm welcome to moment you arrive at the hotel, The own is there offering help with bags and then ensuring your settled into your room. The room is to lovely and excellent standard, coffee machine in the room was a lovely touch. Everything has been thought from elexa to having cotton buds in the bathroom. The room is better than 5 star hotels we have stayed in before. This will be where we book going forward. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Brilliant B & B. I chose Villa Marina as it seemed to be the only one specifically mentioning quality, locally sourced food, especially butter on your toast (not margarine!). It certainly lived up to it! Breakfast was fantastic, beautifully poached eggs, smoked salmon on brown buttered toast, local jam that was every bit as good as my own home made. Room and décor were also really nice. I was there for a funeral, and couldn't have wished for better hosts and company during a stressful time. Vince even offered to drive me to the cemetery. What a great place to stay. Thank you so much Vince and Erwan.

The Victorian house is beautiful and has a lovely well kept garden. The accomodation was immaculate, clean and homely with well presented decor and interesting art. The bed was luxurious in our room. The amenities and little extras were very thoughtful. Lovely lemon drizzle cake upon arrival courtesy of Vince and black pudding sourced by Erwan. Breakfast was fabulous especially the poached eggs. Vince and Erwan were such thoughtful and kind hosts, and being in their company was an easy pleasure. We can't rate them or their accomodation enough and just want to say a BIG thank you for making our time so special. We hope to see you again soon, Love Leo and Justin.

Polite, lovely hosts who gave us very helpful information about places to visit in the area. The room was immaculately clean and breakfast was superb. We would definitely recommend this B&B. Thank you very much.

Great place to stay, convenient, clean and exceptional. Hosts were fantastic and very welcoming. Much more preferable than hotels as the service is personable and they go above and beyond. I have been staying in Devon for the past 3 months weekly, and this is the best breakfast I have had, compliments to the Chef. I will definitely be staying again in future.
