The hotel is so beautiful. From the moment you walk into reception, the attention to detail is incredible, with interesting and unique design touches. We were met by our concierge Georgia, who looked after us the whole 3 days we were there. She was really attentive and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. The property gives a real feeling of space. We were told that the hotel was full, but hardly saw anyone as we walked around. Our room was lovely and had a private courtyard, with areas for siting and relaxing surrounded by honeysuckle and lemon trees. There are a number of pools to use, including 2 adult pools and 2 children's pools. The adult pool area is quiet and relaxing, but the pools are unheated. We came in May and they were just too cold to swim in. We spent our time at the children's pools, which are equally beautiful and, owing to our trip being outside of school holidays, there were very few children and it was really peaceful. And the water was warm! The downsides - our room had 2 bathrooms - one a large accessible one and then a smaller bathroom. We hadn't asked for an accessible room and would have preferred a larger single bathroom. There was a minibar, but no facilities in the room for making tea and coffee which would have been nice- especially as we had outside space to enjoy. The main bar in the hotel is lovely and the staff really helpful, but the bar was always almost completely empty whenever we were in there, so no real atmosphere.

Unbelievable property! We were here for a corporate award trip (so did not pay for it!) and were blown away by the setting, service and overall vibe. Hard to describe this high-end, self-contained village experience. Amazing staff and overall service.

Beautiful and peaceful. Our first time in Puglia and Borgo was a good way to start. It’s set a village. It’s charming, well designed and has everything. Staff very friendly and so was the food. Only comment would be that room service reactivity levels could be better. Overall highly recommended

We were part of a tour group who stayed at this hotel and enjoyed our stay. The interior of the hotel is very dark - not much natural light given the historic nature of the hotel. The breakfast was exceptional! The pool area is fabulous as is the gym. What we felt was needed was more signage and information about activities offered at the hotel. It truly is a maze - and we found it hard to navigate the grounds. I have no need to go back but it was a good experience but prefer more personalised properties that have a more intimate feel.

The place is magic - it’s beautiful, well done and quite the labyrinth (180 rooms i think). Yet it’s recent but made like traditionally (i thought there were enough traditional places in Italy, if you do a new one, why not making it …new?). The place is overstaffed- but the staff is undertrained. Rooms are interesting (we want more plugs to charge….) but the thousands pools are bit too much maybe…I liked very much the breakfast but dinner was below expectation - not sure how they got that Michelin star…judge by yourself. Lacks authenticity in my view.

The most amazing resort in every single way! The villa, the amenities, the restaurants, entertainment, the facilities were outstanding! Most of all the people were hospitable beyond our expectations and our concierge Adriana was superb in meeting all our needs!

We golfed we enjoyed the Pools and the afternoon snacks at the bars . At night there are different Restaurants to please every taste . Tradition and Luxury combined while you can escape the pressure of a busy life
