Tout était très bien rien a dire

The staff here speak good English and are very warm and friendly with a good sense of humour. The hotel is quite old fashioned. Whilst clean, the room was cramped and the bathroom was akin to a walk-in wardrobe In dimensions. The shelves in the bedroom were loose and wobbly. The WiFi only worked on the ground floor of the building. But for the price, one couldn’t grumble too much. It was an adequate stay. Be aware that the traffic noise from the street outside is very intrusive and doesn’t calm down until late. Apart from that, you leave feeling you have had a genuine French experience which you don’t get in a chain hotel.

Location was excelent , easy to find, signage in the town Receptionist was professional, polite and good english speaker. Clean beddings and bathroom Excellent breakfast ( fresh croissant and baguettes ).

Stay went well. A noisy barking dog in the house next door was a bit annoying ! Shower & bathroom were very small - but just about manageable. Check in / out was swift (didn't even get billed for the city/local tax)...

Excellent, good value hotel within walking distance of all amenities.

Good value but it is an old property which needs TLC and there is no lift and rooms are over 4 floors with only a spiral staircase to reach higher floors. Staff were very pleasant and the room was clean although the carpet had multiple stains on it.

Cheap and no frills. No elevator. Just clean enough to not be dirty. It was November but I saw no other guests. The savings may be worth it to you. If I make it back to Cherbourg, I’ll look elsewhere.

Comfortable, clean hotel from which to explore Cherbourg. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Quelle déception ! Dans le cadre d'une box, nous avions choisi l'hôtel Beausejour à Cherbourg. On peut dire que les photos ne correspo dent pas à la chambre que l'on avait. Déjà, en rentrant à l'accueil, odeur de tabac, la moquette de l'escalier n'était pas propre et le pire était notre chambre...exiguë avec 2 lits (1 seul suffirait non ? Pour la taille de la chambre).odeur de tabac et de renfermé,moquette usée et sale, poussière omniprésente et le clou du spectacle, les toilettes n'étaient pas propres....j'ai du me munir de lingettes pour faire le nettoyage.....seule la literie était bonne et les draps et serviettes propres. Quand aux fenêtres n'en parlons pas....vraiment c'est inacceptable. Cette chambre n°9 doit être réservée aux clients de "box".....point positif le petit déjeuner et les propriétaires sympathiques. Mais s'il vous plaît, contrôlez vos chambres avant de les laisser à votre clientèle ! On ne cherche pas le luxe, mais un minimum d'hygiène et de fraîcheur. Bien déçue 😞
