ガストハウス シュタウデ(Gasthaus Staude)

Wonderful gasthaus. Has a very traditional appearance outside but very up-to-date interior. Rooms are spacious & comfortable. The restaurant is great and the food is incredible. The dinner was the best meal we had during our 2-week travels in Germany. And breakfast was perfect. Gasthaus Staude has been owned and operated by the same family for 5 generations…the pride and commi**ent to creating an exceptional experience is obvious. We enthusiastically recommend it.

Excellent stay outside of the main hustle and bustle, easy access to many trails, dinner at the restaurant was great.

This plac is amazing in a super quiet location just outside of Triberg. The staff was warm and freindly. My only compnaint is I wish we would have stayed another night.

This was our favorite stay while in Germany. We loved that it was off the beaten path. We loved that it felt like a German farmhouse. We loved that we could walk around the Black Forest. We loved the breakfast that was available the next morning. We hated that we were not able to stay a second night as they were completely booked. We would absolutely stay here again and would try for more than one night!

We come here several times a year and as usual it was....... FANTASTIC ‼️‼️‼️ Enough choice and all dishes equally attractive Definitely worth the (beautiful) trip from our holiday home in Buhlbach. ⛰️🌲🌳🚙🚗

Everything was really good except smoking stand below my room. I couldn't open my windows during night. The smoking stand outside should be moved away from hotel room windows.

Gasthaus Staude was the perfect place for us, a charming small inn tucked into a farming community in the Black Forest. We loved the room, we loved the breakfast, and we especially loved walking in the forest behind the inn. We heard (and saw!) many unfamiliar European birds, a babbling brook, wind through the trees...it was so natural! Gasthaus Staude is a short drive from Sainkt Georgen and a slightly longer drive from Triberg, but the drive through the forests and rolling hills was so beautiful that we didn't mind it at all. I can't say enough nice things about the room, the people, the location and the scenery. If you're planning to spend any time in the Schwarzwald, this is the place to stay.

While other establishments in Triberg have closed, Gasthaus Staude is going strong thanks to its enthusiastic owners. The dining area is pristine new wood, and the restaurant bathrooms were under construction (alternatives were provided), highlighting their inves**ent in the place. Our room was rustic - exposed wood beams and minimal decor, with a nice little balcony. Proprietors Rolf and Heidi were warm and welcoming, particularly to our young daughter, and provided a nice breakfast buffet. Dinner at the restaurant was also excellent (and convenient); there's a reason the dining room was full at night. Our daughter loved having a little playground right outside, and we appreciated the little "Stuebli" room down the hall as a place to sit with the lights on while she slept. Only downside was that the beds were a bit hard (and the extra child bed was uneven.)
