ホテル ヴィラ アンティカ(Hotel Villa Antica Tropea)

La struttura è una piacevole sorpresa a pochissimi passi dal centro vitale di Tropea. La camera con finestra che affaccia sul patio d’ingresso è comoda, ben arredata e con letto confortevole; il bagno è dotato di ampia e confortevole doccia. L’ottima colazione con dolci locali completa il soggiorno in modo super. Il personale è molto disponibile e cortese. La climatizzazione è efficiente, ma la porta in legno d’ingresso, non ben isolata, lascia disperdere un po’ di vitale frescura.

Great location and grand Italian Villa. Our room #20 was at ground floor with private outdoor area. Reasonable standard. Other than a faulty shower rose, the room was reasonable considering its vintage. Trying to communicate ahead of arrival on where to park a car via phone was futile, and the receptionist when we got here just shrugged her shoulders when questioned why no answer, then added no value as to where we should park. We are very disappointed that we were given no help to find a parking area for our 2 day stay. Note unless you are very lucky all the free parking spaces in the area are snapped up by the locals. The paid parking nearby is at horrendous cost. We are 66 Euro out of pocket for open paid unsecured parking for two days. No help from the Hotel. They should provide at a minimum a map of where there are suitable parking, or prearrange with a parking company suitable parking spots for their guests, even if it’s an extra charge. Finally, the continental breakfast we had here is not up to standard of a 4 star hotel. Rather than a raft of cakes perhaps a greater emphasis on providing fresh fruit would be a healthier choice.

We had a really cozy room. Nice courtyard - Sweet staff - nice breakfast table. Clean and nice. Located very centrally. - Can absolutely be recommended. - Located close to the railway station. So it is easy to go on trips along the coast. Cozy town with many good restaurants and viewpoints.

Lovely romantic hotel, the room was spotlessly clean, the wonderful staff made us feel very welcome. Food was good, the manager makes the marmalade which is a treat! It’s in a perfect spot. Close to town, and beach and station. Would definitely recommend it

We recently stayed here for a week and felt like we had discovered a little gem. The location is perfect as it is close to the centre of town and to the beach. Our room was clean and cool and the bed was superb - we slept so well. The rooms are cleaned beautifully each day. The breakfasts were good and offered a lot of choice and all the staff (breakfast, reception and cleaning) were all absolutely amazing - so helpful. We were sorry to leave and will hopefully return one day.

Very clean and nice apartment, big enough for 2 people, having a lift in somewhere like Rome is always great. The restaurant right at the entrance is amazing

The staff is very friendly. The location is amazing to walk to the most beautiful parts of tropea is only a few minutes away. We booked the suite. This is an underground room with no ventilation and air conditioning was broken. We couldn’t sleep all night from how hot and stuffy it was in the room even though the weather outside was not warm. There was no draw sheet on the mattress and we found a cockroach in our room. We could have left the sliding door open for some air however that would have felt unsafe. We would have been better off with a regular room since those have windows. There’s also no designated parking so we spent 30 euros paying for parking for one night. This property was ok and definitely not what I expected of a 4 star rated hotel. This must be an old rating.

Mai visto un hotel 4 stelle così squallido in vita mia! Ma come si possono attribuire 4 stelle ad una topaia simile?! Appena arrivati volevamo sparire, ma siamo in bassa stagione, abbiamo pagato non troppo e ce ne siamo fregati per non perdete tempo, perchè era solo per un weekend, grazie a dio! La stanza che ci è stata assegnata era un buco, scura e scomodissima: finestre rotte, cartaigienica che abbiamo dovuto richiedere, frigobar da pezzenti a prezzi esorbitanti… La colazione era peghio che andar di notte: tutta robaccia da discount, non in linea con le 4 stelle che si attribuiscono a questa struttura. Ieri sera addirittuta non avevamo la luce in camera! Un vero incubo. Oltretutto al check-out abbiamo pagato una tassa di soggiorno pari a €16 per soli 2 giorni: una VERGOGNA! Vi prego di non farvi ingannare dalle foto come è successo a noi, perchè sono totalmente fuorvianti! È un posto davvero DA EVITARE! Statene alla larga!
