Nice place well located and good welcoming service

We stayed at the hotel for three nights and left with mixed feelings. On the one hand, the front-of-house staff were excellent, exceeding our expectations during check-in and with valet parking. We were also delighted by the expansive spa area, which features a large swimming pool, saunas, and relaxation areas. The room was lovely, and we even received an unexpected upgrade as part of the Accor All loyalty program. The open bathroom design isn’t my preference, but I appreciate the effort to modernise the rooms. However, there were significant drawbacks. First, the breakfast was subpar for a 5-star hotel, notably lacking any hot options in the buffet and offering a limited food selection overall. This absence of hot buffet items meant guests were compelled to order all hot dishes directly from the kitchen, leading to prolonged waiting times. Even more disappointing was the breakfast staff's demeanour. They were rude and consistently ignored us, seemingly because we did not speak French. We felt unwelcome, and when we queried why we had to ask three times for eggs, we received sarcastic comments. Additionally, there was no menu for hot dishes, and the staff struggled to explain the available options. There was also no hot food available in the buffet, which resulted in over a 15-minute wait for eggs—even though most guests spent less than 30 minutes at breakfast, making these wait times excessive. It also seems inappropriate to charge guests €30 per day for parking in such a remote location, especially when most arrive by car. This fee could easily be included in the room rate.

I visited this hotel and spa back in 2019. The experience was then decent. With the re-opening of the Spa in late 2023, I decided to give it another go. What a huge mistake. I did book a room with a "cycle équilibre" program of trea**ents and was really looking forward to my experience, especially in the light of the fact that the package (hotel and spa trea**ents) costed about €2,500. Arriving at the hotel was a non-experience. There was only one person at the check-in desk doing her best on a busy day. Being a Platinum member of Accor, I had no expectation of anything (Accor All probably being the worst loyalty hotel programme around). But it was odd not to have any polite mention of acknowledgment of membership along those lines : "Thank you for being a loyal member. We are aware that as a Platinum member, you may be entitled for a room upgrade. However, at this time, we are unable to offer you one and we are sorry about it but we do value your custom". Only "have you been here before", "yes", "here is your key". And what about the spa trea**ent programme : "go and see the spa about it"... The room was decent but extraordinarily small. The open bathroom in the middle of the room is really not a great experience. The meals were very nice but service was extraordinarily slow (and the waiters would readily acknowledge it). However, it was the spa experience that was the worst : the "programme" was nothing more than a mix and match of trea**ents offered with absolutely zero consistency. My first trea**ent was a computer assessment of general heatlth. The therapist had no knowledge of how it all worked and the session ended up being her reading out what the computer was generating and offering silly advice (to sleep better, go to bed at consistent hours... really?). Some trea**ents were unavailable (you would be notified while waiting for the trea**ent outside the room - "oh sorry, the computer does not work" or "cryo is unavailable". As for the wet trea**ents, where to start ??? the therapists were obvisouly very yound and untrained (or recently trained). Most of them had absolutely no idea what they were doing. The whole experience turned out to be such a stressful experience and I ended up cancelling (without a refund) my last trea**ent as I got fed up with the really low level of professionnal standards of this spa. This gives the impression that the spa was upgraded merely to generate more profit but not to improve customers' experience. I will never return. I am not surprised. Accor Thalasso locations have been a real mess in recent years Dinard location left the Accor brand, Novotel Le Touquet is an unpleasant factory. Other Thalasso are getting old and not paying enough attention to customers' satisfaction. The only Accor location still worth a visit is Quiberon.

This hotel was amazing, all of the workers were nice. We had a deluxe family room which was spacious, clean ,and comfortable. The spa area was extraordinary with many options and such a nice a**osphere. We really enjoyed the tea room. The sea water pool was nothing like we’ve seen before and was amazing. We also loved the shower area with many options! The fitness center was great but don’t plan on training for a marathon ! The dinner was very good however the wait was a bit too long; we also consider the fact that they were doing room service at the same time. The breakfast was delicious and had many options. The parking was well managed by the concierge! We were in the city! In conclusion, we totally recommend this hotel!

I would like to say that everyone from each depar**ent was genuinely overwhelming of symphatizing with the guests. I appreciate the service at the restaurant. The room was amazing with a view over the beach. It is a beautiful place for your health disere. I would recommend it for family, couple and business trip 100%.

There was one staff working as a porter, valley, and concierge. The receptionust was a bigginner and it took him 30-40 minutes to upgrade our room. The rooms are small and too expensive for the area.

It was perfect stay! The full a**osphere of the hotel very suits to Trouville “mood”. The service is superb! Location, interior design, breakfast .. I loved it all!

Absolutely NOT a five star hotel when it comes to the room and facilities, corridors and elevators. Pool was out of order, which was a huge disappoin**ent with 31 degrees, as it was the criteria to choose the hotel. Service was friendly. Breakfast good, but completely overpriced. Would not go again.
