Stayed two non-consecutive nights at this property in one week. The first night was in a suite on the executive floor where the room’s windows looked over the bar/pool area on the sixth floor. This room was large and quiet. The second night I was given a regular room. This room faced the open air Playground bar across the alley. It was a Sunday night and the bar was packed with people for salsa dancing. The noise from below was fairly constant and distracting. Even after the patio was cleared and the music/dancing moved indoors, we could still hear it. I sleep with a sound machine, so it wasn’t too bothersome for me but I imagine this noise might cause issues for others. Overall, the hotel itself is nice and the rooms are clean and well appointed. Chose this hotel because it was recommended by a travel company, but next time I’m in Tucson I might seek out a different hotel downtown for a bit more peace and quiet
