Hotel Grand Baron

Peaceful & Queit Location to Stay. Very Very Near to Taiping Zoo Night Safari, War Cemetry, ATV Fun Ride, Taiping Lake & Taiping Perak Museum. ( Within 1-2KM only). Food provided by the Hotel in the Morning not too bad, atleast have a nice meal before start our travel journey. Sadly i wish they will improve their cleaniness of the Bedroom & Bathroom a little bit more, not too bad by the way but can be better 😉👍✨. Overall its a nice stay there. Me and my wife enjoy the Vacation and Sleep Well 2 Night there. 👍👍👍

Been there for 1 nite with families. Booking 2 rooms and i think location are the main reasons I'm staying there. Unluckily whether are not very good so we have to cancel walking to bukit larut. In the morning we walk to taman tasik taiping. Both location are about 10 minutes walking. Love this place.

Very interesting and iconic visit to taiping the 1st time. This hotel is very close to the famous lake taiping(with the legendary trees age more then 130years old), the taiping zoo and importantly the eateries are all nearby. Will cherish the moment here forever. The hotel is clean and well kept. Services and hospitality is superb and friendly, you just have to ask around if you are in doubt of anything abt taiping. Cheers and kudos to the teams there, keep up the great work…. !!!!

Very helpful & honest staff. The best stay so far. The bed & pillow so comfy. Bathroom, water pressure perfect. Toiletries available. The breakfast, love the soup. If you combine with porridge & its condiments. Perfect match. I would say thank you so much to their staff. My husband left his Garmin watch in the room. The staff keep the watch until we came to get it. We are so thankful. The hotel is the best.

Wifi was not connected even i got 3 set of passwords. Noc23 rooms beside was under reno and a little bit hacking noise during day time.

The room is nice and big and had no complain on the breakfast with this room rate. Overall is good except the water pressure of bathroom is not good enough 😊

Rather disappointed with the hotel. Upon arrival, i got a room at the end of the block, with a gloomy ambience. Even the bathroom's light was dim & it dampen my spirit. The carpeting on the 3rd floor was worn out & there were "burnt iron-shaped" stains on the carpet, along the corridor. Somehow, when i complained to the receptionist (en. Ahmad), about my room, he was kind enough to change my room to 2nd floor that was brighter & the floor's carpet looked impressive as compared to the 3rd floor's carpeting. On another note, the breakfast spread offers a variety of delicious food, so kudos to F&B team. Keep up the good job!

3rd time checking in with this hotel. Always happy with the breakfast spread and kids enjoy the pool. Room is big and comfortable. Location is nice and quiet. Near Zoo Taiping. Highly recommended for vacation with family.

This is my favourite hotel in Taiping. The breakfast is good and the reception is very helpful.
