La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tuscaloosa University

I am surprised I’m writing such a negative review but there were cockroaches in my bathroom. The couch had a yucky stain on it that was either blood or food and one of the pillows had no pillow case. I told the front desk discretely about the bugs and she said ‘oh yes I have a note about that already’. So they knowingly put us in a bug-infested room. I didn’t bother to tell her the rest bc they obviously don’t care. Besides that the location is tough- right on the highway so you hear highway noise all night long. Breakfast was mediocre. We are on a weeklong college visit tour and staying in a different hotel at the same price point each night and this was by far the worst breakfast (though it has two waffle makers so my son would disagree). it was also much further from the university than I anticipated and you have to get on the highway to get to the school bc you are on the wrong side of the road. Would not recommend.

The best hotel to stay if you’re attending a graduation or business in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

The hotel was very nice! Staff was friendly and everything was super clean - breakfast was great too!!

it was very poor lighting, even we turn on all the lights during night , it is Sad with money you charge we should have enough to see our way around

I thought it was a great stay. Very comfortable. Staff was super friendly. The one downside was how possibly thin the walls are because I could hear everything from the room next door to upstairs and hallway. But very comfortable nonetheless. I would stay again.

We always stay at this hotel when we travel to visit family and the staff is always so kind and helpful. The room is always clean.

This was my 2nd time booking here, because I liked it so much the 1st time. Everything was wonderful yet again. Onya ( not sure I spelled it correctly) at the front desk was awesome!
