Rooms look good on the surface, but full of problems when you actually live in them: toilet flush doesn't work, no toilet paper, no hand towel, fan knob is broken (it's either on + full speed or off entirely - can't control speed), cabinets creak sooo loud that you'll refuse to open/use them, key card stopped working so they gave me a ***ual key but it takes a lot of jiggling in the keyhole to open the door, I could go on... Cleanliness also looks okay on the surface but when you take off bed cover and closely examine the sheet underneath you can see stains and a few hairs, there's only one sheet between you and mattress underneath (hygiene issue - sweat will definitely reach the mattress), room is dusty wherever not visible (under bed, inside cabinets, etc.)

We loved our stay at Jyoti Residency. Will definitely recommend anyone going there to stay there. Spacious clean rooms and close to the temple. Very few hotels out there who can provide the services like them. We were lucky to get 2 rooms there as someone had cancelled by the time we got in to their hotel around 9.30pm. Scouted a dozen hotels in and around the area but did not find any clean and tidy for a family of 4 to stay. Out of desperation, would have ended up taking some lodge hadn't I tried my luck at Jyoti Residency. Always suggest everyone to book hotels before going to such places. We had gone during Ugadi so almost all hotels were completely booked for the night. Would like to thank Biju and his team at the reception desk who were helpful throughout our stay and always wore a smile. Would like to specially call out to Tikko (housekeeping staff) who got my severe bout of shivering to a halt with his hand and leg massage and Reji Annan (their in-house driver) who drove me all the way to the nearby hospital that is 30kms away (Adarsha Hospital, Kundapura Highway) at around 1am in the night and got me back to the room safely by 3.30am. I'm really happy that there are such good people in this friendly temple town who goes out of their way to help you (something that was missing in our previous day stay in an overhyped Cafe, Gokarna).

Wonderful family experience - great people n excellent value for money. Biju and Kavitha go out of their way to help the guests - very genune and courteous hospitality!! Truly love staying at this hotel - the best in Kollur!! Recommended strongly to one and all.

Comfort stay at Jyothis... Location is very close to temple. Max 75m. Rooms are spacious and washrooms are clean with minimum toiletries. Tried food from the hotel itself. It was decent one.. Tasty. Check in and check out were smooth. Front office staff and room boys were very supportive. Overall good experience

I stayed in this Hotel on 18th Oct.2023 during my visit of the Mookambika temple. What ever they have promised in the website is very correct. This Hotel is very close to the temple, yes may be 100 meters.Every thing about this Hotel was very good, right from the location, Reception staff, facilities in the room, AC, Bath room cleanliness, TV, linen etc. They had arranged transport for my return trip in a very short time. The Buffet breakfast is fully indian style, not so ***y dishes and costs R.190/- only. There is adequate area for car parking. 24 hrs hot water in the bathroom. Staff are very courteous and very helpful. Over all it was a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is good nest and clean you get stuck in lift during power cut , the resturant attached to hotel is horrible food is not tasty pori is like biscuts the coconut chutney is like flowing water Ganesh hotel 1 minute walk is. A good authentic South India restaurant temple is 1 minute walk

Being an NRI to book a hotel and arrange for logistic was hard , but at joythis things were made easy just cobtacting them over watsaap where Mr Baiju the ***ager was very cooperative from arranging the rooms to pick up and dropping . Staff were very friendly and excellent food . It was wonderful experience being at jyothis

Very good stay. Staff were courteous and helpful. It was near to the temple. Food was also very good. Cons are no food and beverages services in room. If one is ordering something in restaurant it takes lot of time to get. Overall a good stay. It's recommended.

Not at all a good experience...wen am writing this review am staying the hotel..the hotel is located at an ideal spot..the rooms are good..had stayed in this hotel ***y times earlier also..but this time it was a real bad experience..first of all wen we checked in the lift was not working and was under maintenance..this could be understood as lift could go under repair any time..there is no room service...wen asked about restaurant , it was said that maintenance was going on and there was timing for it..it was already evening and wen i went to washroom for a shower to go to temple, then there is no water too..wen cald the reception they said maintenance was going on and asked me to wait.....the hotel is actually owned by a very good group having operations in dubai..but ***ged in a very poor ***agement..
