パラタ ベネチア(Hotel Palata Venezia)

We had a wonderful weeks holiday at the hotel Palata Venezia. It was the first time we had visited Monte***** (Ulcinj ) and we will definitely return . We were collected from Tivat airport and this was arranged by the hotel .From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were made to feel very welcome .All of the staff were so helpful. We had a large room with a huge shared terrace .The setting and view for breakfast was amazing . The atmosphere in the hotel was welcoming and friendly and we felt part of the hotel family . English was spoken by most of the staff and management and we experienced no language barriers. Nothing was too much for them to arrange.

Terrible experience i pay for ocean front view and they give me something else ,also they destroyed my clocth while doing our laundry.

The location is certainly intriguing (specific to being in the fortress area), however the hotel is situated directly above a ***** of nightclubs— it’s EXTREMELY loud until about 1 or 2 am. Might as well have been clubbing ourselves. Even with the ac on, ear plugs, and white noise playing from our phones, couldn’t drown out the music enough to sleep. I wish we had been aware of this aspect prior to booking.

A very nice place in the old town in Ulcinj overlooking on the Adratic sea We sat in the terassa and drank watching the see the honest and nice director spoke with us about Montangro a very pleasant place must come!!! It is an hotel and restaurant we didn’t eat but all the dishes looked great

The hotel is excellent, rooms are clean, staff is helpful and genuinely kind and welcoming. The view was outstanding from our room and also from the terrace where we had our breakfasts We were not informed before arrival, that we can ask for a golf car, so we carried all our bags up to hill which can be exhausted for those not in a good shape. The closest parking option is a good 5-6 minute walk. Consider if you choose this hotel that you have to climb the stairs, or walk uphill each time you want to go anywhere outside the tiny old town on the rock. The dinner was simply bad, the risotto was uncooked rice soaking in water, but apparently there was a chaos in the kitchen that night. The breakfast is ok. They serve fruits, but quality seemed volatile. The hotel does not have its own beach, you get a ticket, that entitles you to get a sunbed at the closest beach, but that one was extremely crowded, so we walked to another beach which is about 20 minutes away. The pool is tiny, but nice. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, but underneath the hotel, at the bottom of the rock there are bars and clubs, and the music is unbearably loud until 1.a.m. so we could not sleep until then. In the mornings the music comes up from the hotel terrace, so you can have a good night sleep between 1.00-7.20 a.m. Despite of all deficiencies if you are late bird, or you want to party it is a very nice place to stay.

The hotel is well situated, clean with lovely terrace gardens. It’s a shame at night the boom music from the bay dominates the evening .. the food was ok but don’t get pushed into an expensive dinner. Great pool with nice views of the moon and sea.

This is a poorly managed, poorly maintained hotel with a great view. Scratchy towels, no hot water, no pressure, spartan beds in tiny rooms. It is very difficult to find, signage is poor. We took a number of rooms for our group and one was worse than the next.

There are hotels and there are hotels but this one stands out and for many reasons. First of all, the amiability of its staff. We arrived in Ulcinj at 9.30 pm but our gps sent us to a car park well below the hotel. I phoned the hotel to ask for directions and within 5 minutes they came down in an electric buggy so we could follow them towards the hotel. I requested some food for our room as the restaurant should have alredy closed but they gave us the option of keeping the restaurant open for us and we gladly accepted. And what a meal! The grilled fish was out of this world! Secondly, the hotel itself. Our room turned out to be a suite with ample room to relax. The decor is traditional and such a far cry from your run of the mill modern establishments. There is also a lovely little museum and a statue of Cervantes,the Spanish writer, who, according to a local tradition, used the town as his inspiration for Don Quijote. And lastly, the setting. It's in the heart of the medieval old town with views from our bedroom and the terraced restaurant looking over the turquoise blue Mediterranean. All in all, if you feel all your senses deserve a treat, then this is the place for you.
