I liked the fact that the property was close to public transportation and that it was close (walking distance) to the city center.

A/C was not working. The bathroom’s light was not working and after notifying they didn’t fix it. The pillows were so flat and uncomfortable.

You pretty much get what you pay. It is a value hotel. You pay a cheap price for a bed and that’s what you get. I thought the room was clean enough although it didn’t smell the best. The walls are very thin. Other than that it was fine. The staff is friendly, it’s right off the expressway and the bagel place in front is fantastic. The bed was comfortable and the room was secure. I slept well. I needed a cheap place to spend the night and that’s what I got. If I needed a quick stop in Utica again I’d come back.

There was bed bugs and when I said something to them the lady said it wasn’t her problem and didn’t offer another room or even to refund any of my money I will never stay there again and don’t recommend anyone to stay there

Overall, it really wasn't bad for what we paid for. Only real down side was that it was noisy all night. There was a party going on above us.

The rooms were clean enough, and the staff was fairly polite. The outside area around the rooms had bags of trash that we had to walk around at eight in the evening and were still present in the morning when we left. Trash bags were present both upstairs and downstairs and invite rodents and insects. Next time we will stay somewhere else. We did not feel safe there.

Room needs to be sanitized and aired out for a few days. The beds were okay, the property and surrounding area were unkempt and ignored. Very shady people milling about and for ~$180? Skip this location.
