TownePlace Suites Tampa North/I-75 Fletcher

First time booking a trip through Trip.com for Towne Suites by Marriott; It was incredible. Front desk service was excellent..our suite was nicer than expected down to the towels.. I would definitely recommend and will be booking again.

Not a bad place at all that has suites , great location, good price and friendly. If we ever go back to Tampa we will definitely stay there again

Absolute worst Marriott property I've ever seen. The lobby was not clean and smelled like smoke, as did the person checking me in. The building he sent me to had two doors, and the one nearest my room didn't work. I walked down a dark walkway to the other door and walked back thru the building to the elevator. It was dim and smelled awful. When I got to my room, it smelled awful. The carpet was dirty, the TV didn't work, the curtains were hanging askew, the bed linens did not look clean, and the windows were unlocked. I could hear the people in the next room arguing, and it was so loud that it was as if they were in my room. I checked out immediately and told the staff member I didn't feel safe and that the property was not clean. He seemed very surprised, but I can't imagine he has not been told this before. He did not offer any refund or any apology of any kind. I have contacted Marriott about this experience.

This property is rundown. The pictures online are not recent. The staff was very nice and they tried to be responsive but it’s obvious that the owner isn’t interested in putting any money into the property or maintaining the level of quality that you would expect from a Marriott property. The pictures are from the closed pool with zero furniture to sit and relax on. We checked out early and we were told we would receive a refund for the last two nights we canceled. That was March 16th and despite multiple phone calls nothing has happened. For the record Marriott corporate doesn’t care either which is equally disappointing.

Worst Marriott property I've ever stayed at. I couldn't wait for the stay to be over. The lobby isn't clearly marked, the breakfast was garbage, rock hard bagels, no bagel slicer, the lady working there told me to use a plastic knife. The hotel is dirty, deferred maintenance, paint missing and almost no water pressure in the shower. I would've rather stayed in a Motel 6 than this place, they should not be able to carry the Marriott name.

The room was pleasantly maintained. I had a full fridge, electric stove, dishwasher, and kitchen. At breakfast, I met An employee by the name of Linda who was very pleasant and cheerful. I realize she probably begins work very early in the morning to prepare our breakfast. I really appreciated her being thoughtful, being cheerful, and carrying in everyday with a smile. Thank you Linda.

Ended up with a dent in our hood! Not only were we stressed with my husband’s cancer appt at Moffitt the next morning, we were awakened by a 14? Year old throwing things around in the parking lot and jumping on our car. My husband chased him and he ran off but later came back and ran into the hotel lobby. The night attendant was notified and intervened. I watched her walk him outside to his mother, who had been with him during his antics, and turn him over to him. This was about 12:30 am on a school night! She told him she would see him tomorrow. I wish we had seen the damage the next morning but we were focused on my husband’s dr appt.

This property is in dire need of renovation. Overall, it is shabby, dirty and damaged. The are unpleasant odors throughout the interior of the property. The lobby looks really bad. The walls are dented and the paint is peeling. The lobby furniture is stained and damaged. The pool was unavailable and looks like a toxic green swamp. In our suite, the cover on the toilet tank was the wrong size and shape and didn't fit the tank. The shower head permanently drips at a high rate, causing water to splash all over the floor. The kitchen faucet was broken and pulled entirely off the base when trying to use it. The living room furniture was disgusting. Both the couch and the chair were stained, damaged and they had a foul odor. All of the drapes were unattached from their pull tracks at one or more sections, so they didn't close evenly. We will never stay here again. We were extremely unsatisfied with our stay.

I've been loyal to Marriott since 1989. This property is definitely not up to Marriott Quality Control standards. Dirty carpets, questionable sheets, and a toilet that rocked back and forth as you sat on it. This morning I woke up and noticed a plastic bag placed around the smoke detector in the ceiling. Very surreal.
