ダンホステル ヴァイレ(Danhostel Vejle)

Great spot between Vejle and Billund. Easy access to the bus stop for the 43 and 143 buses. We stayed here specifically go to go Legoland and Lego House which were easy to get to. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom a little uncomfortable but it works, the kitchen was great and had everything we needed to make some meals. Great laundry facilities. We stayed during a quiet time so didn’t have to share or work around anyone’s schedules. I would stay here again if we went to Legoland and LegoHouse again!

This is a mixed review. Positives : the communal areas were clean, spacious and well maintained. Nice areas to cook and relax and toys/ activities for the children. Parking was easy and attached to the property. Negatives : it is expensive for what it is. We paid 2/3rd the price of a local good hotel and it didn’t appear to be 2/3rd as nice. The rooms, whilst being a reasonable size, were utilitarian and looking worn. There was what looked like blood on our curtains. The beds weren’t comfortable and the bathroom whilst large was old and, again, utilitarian - a bit like being in a public toilet. I know it’s a youth hostel and we stayed because of lack of otherwise local accommodation but we wouldn’t stay again.

It needs a bigger refrigerator but the kitchen is very nice and has a toaster, two sinks, two cooking surfaces, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The bathrooms should be cleaned better but the rooms were fresh and clean and the self check in went very smoothly. It’s in a quiet area with little traffic. Good for kids. Very safe neighborhood.

Ikke lige frem det mest behagelige sted. Sov ikke særlig godt i sengen. Det var lidt svært at finde ud af hvordan man skulle tænde for komfuret så det kunne godt være et billede eller tekst til hvordan man skulle gøre.

Der var mange myg på værelset, som vi skulle fjerne før vi kunne sove. Vi ankom kl 22:30 om aftenen, så myggene var lukket ind før vores ankomst
