エヴァンシー ヴァンス - レ ジャルダン ダズール(Evancy les Jardins d'Azur - Vence)

Reality is not always what you see on promo pictures. This is the view from our apartment with 5 recycle bins, a lot of rubbish and very heavy and loud traffic from 6am till midnight. We booked through their own website and it does not say that there are apartments with very bad street view, and ours is not even the cheapest but a mid category apartment. Normally you can choose on other sites and pay less for rooms with such bad view and more with nice view. Here it is random generated and depends on your luck. We are very disappointed to see rubbish bins and trucks and buses and arriving and leaving cars for 10 days during our long waited annual vacation which makes our rest impossible even at night. We tried to ask for another room at the reception but they were not helpful at all, did not understand (or did not want to understand) our problem. Sorry that we cannot speak French. Very very disappointed.

We stayed for two weeks and had a fabulous time. Our apartment was spacious and very clean with superb views. The cafe was a godsend, fabulous fresh pastries first thing and right next to the pool so great for cold drinks and ice creams during the day.

Set in the most stunning location and with beautiful views and gardens, the Jardins d'Azur exceeded my expectations! The apartment was well equally for self catering and perfect for a family of 4. The pool is fantastic and we used it daily for hours, it's a good length to do a bit of swimming too and if you're too tired then you can order an Aperol spritz and ice cream at the pool bar and just relax reading a book. It was just what we wanted. Thank you Team Evancy! My only tip would be you need to hire a car as it is too far to walk to town and Uber rides are expensive and tricky to book with long wait times.

There aren’t enough sunbeds for everyone and the pool staff isn’t welcoming. If you want to change your towel it costs 5€ a’ towel. No proper breakfast so you have to buy your own. Otherwise a nice hotel with a mountain view.

Evancy Vence is a really nice place - away from the crowded places near the beaches on the Riviera. We really enjoyed our stay in the hills of Vence. During our stay, we had som problems with our car. The staff was very helpful in helping us to get our car started and in taking contact with a car workshop.

Very bad and small beds. To many small children and The pool seems to be too small to the numbers of people staying at the property. The pool-bar and “restaurant” did not understand English or German - then it is difficult to be a guest.

The place it's great , but don't have room service cleaning , and the máster bedroom bed it's terrible, really small ( the bedroom AND they bed) , tow diferent small matress terrible sleeping . Please change the bedsss

An *extremely* basic hotel. Very clean but far fewer amenities than a Travelodge or Premier Inn for a UK comparison. Had to pay to park and despite this still not enough spaces in the car park. Quite isolated location - must have a car. Poor communication and overall disappointing and reasonably expensive for what it is.

Great location with excellent facilities ….. will be looking to return as soon as possible! Quiet location, excellent for a relaxing holiday …. Gardens are beautiful with lots of flowers and trees and maintained to a high standard
