カ デル ドーズ(Ca Del Dose)

This is the 2nd worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I'm 61! I wouldn't bother to write this review at all if *********** hadn't advertised the property as having working air conditioning, but two nights without sleep tends to ruin a holiday. I will, however, start with the positives. The location of Ca del Dose is excellent - halfway between Arsonale and St Mark's Square could not be better, even though it is in dingy side street, up 5 flights of stairs, overlooking lots of other rundown properties, all with the faded shutters closed. The price was also very reasonable, comparative to accommodation costs in the UK. The negatives, however, outweigh the positives. The noisy, rattling and dirty air con unit in the small room failed to get the temperature inside below 27C, even though the outside temperature never exceeded 30C, (and we tried every setting available on the unit.) Perhaps you can sleep in that, but we couldn't. The advertised fridge would be best described as a chiller unit, as the drinks we kept in it never felt much cooler than the room. One handle was missing from the mdf wardrobe, (if you can call it that), making it very difficult to open and breaking my wife's nails. The toilet was brown below the water line - why couldn't they use limescale remover? The sealant in the shower unit was also mouldy, and it should have been changed years ago. The fixings for the shower head were so loose that we could only shower by holding the shower head in one hand and trying to wash with the other. This list is not exhaustive, as this poor standard of maintenance makes cleaning to a reasonable standard almost impossible and, to be be fair, we only complained to the hotelier about the air conditioning unit. She berated us for leaving the unit on when we went out, and pointed to the target temperature saying "see, it is 16C in here, this is cold!" What could we say in the light of such ignorance? I just showed her my own thermometer and explained that we could not sleep in such conditions. I just hope that *********** take this property off their listing as the facilities that Ca del Dose advertise have clearly not been maintained and are no longer functioning. To end on a good note, we are now in Lake Garda in excellent accommodation and a positive review will follow.

After looking at some pictures on Ca del Dose web site, we made reservations for 3 nights, via ***********. We requested that we would like a Double or Twin Room on an upper-storey floor and we were informed from *********** via email that the accommodation has confirmed they will be able to arrange this for us at no extra charge for this request. We arrived at the hotel earlier than we thought, and there was no one at the hotel to meet us, as the door was locked, so after a phone call via What’s App to a member of the hotel staff, we were shown to our room which was not in the hotel and later described as depandance nearby the hotel. An old building that looked nice from the outside, but not so nice on the inside. The room given us upon arrival was fusty, stark, dirty with a broken shutter in the bedroom that we had to hang some of clothes to prevent people looking in on us from a back alley. We did not feel safe, comfortable and secure. The bathroom area that comprised of a toilet, bidet, hand-basin and shower unit, was very small, the shower unit was not ideal, too small and the shower curtain was dirty and did not prevent water escaping out onto the bathroom floor, there was nowhere to place soap, shampoo and no hooks to even hang a towel to dry, so we had to use on of the dining chair in the lounge area. When you entered the room No 3533 you are greeted with a step that is 12” high, so you need your wits about you when entering and leaving the room. There was no coffee and tea making facilities, not even a kettle. As we were on our honeymoon, we did stay the 3days, but we did stay out late and only returned to sleep. Although Venice is beautiful, in which we will return, but not to this establishment, who seem just interested in taking the money and not investing into the comfort of their paying guests.

5 stelle è anche poco,per questi gestori del "ca del dose "ottimo posto per pulizia ,disponibilità, serietà, garbo ,punto centrale, sono stati due giorni meravigliosi ,la signora Elena garbata e gentile ,il signor Lorenzo molto gentile e garbato ,torneremo con immenso piacere..a presto !

Sono stato insieme alla mia fidanzata due notti, trovo che sia situato in una posizione veramente tranquilla e davvero molto vicino a piazza San Marco (tre minuti a piedi). Di sicuro non è un hotel a 5 stelle, anche l'arredamento è davvero semplice e vintage, ma trovo che sia irrilevante perché la struttura è comunque accogliente e lo staff è davvero cordiale e disponibile. Lo consiglio a chi cerca un hotel economico ma comunque situato vicino a piazza San Marco 👍

這家酒店是我們蜜月期間很好的落腳點。我們從巴黎過來,住過的酒店都很小。這裏的房間大小正好,還有一個相當大小的露台。晚上坐在這裏品着紅酒非常享受。員工們非常友好樂於助人。這裏沒有電梯,但是我們被告知威尼斯的酒店幾乎都沒有。位置也很好,靠近聖馬可廣場。
