ル マ ノルマン(Le Mas Normand)

Loved. Loved. Loved this quaint B&B. I would stay here again and again. Breakfast was lovely. Accommodations were clean and updated. Management was friendly and helpful. Great place to experience the French countryside.

When we go to France we tend to land at Cherbourg, then we head for Vers Sur Mer where Sandrine runs a fab B&B called Le Mas Normand. Sandrine is delightful, helpful. She clearly has an eye for interior decoration, and the breakfast is always good. The accomdation is dog friendly. There are plenty of places to go and eat. Beautiful Normandy beaches are a stones throw away. What is there not to like.

Walking distance to a Gold Beach, where the sun set colorfully after 10 in late June. The least commercial town in the D-Day landing area, just one resto/bar, a pharmacy, and a British armored vehicle "downtown." Le Mas Normand has location, in its own way, in Ver-sur-Mer. After a long flight and an unfortunately indirect drive from CDG, we found our way here, on a Sawday's recommendation. Sandrine is a wonderful hostess in every way. She came to get us at the mairie when we could not find the place, then produced a remarkable charcuterie board with regional cheeses, pork products, fresh baguette, and her own sweet strawberries. We were in the cottage, so we ate outside, on a beautiful summer evening. Then went to the beach for the sunset. Breakfasts were continental, but worth getting up for -- several fresh breads, jams from local fruit, yogurt, granola, coffee, etc. Highly recommended.

We chose this property due to its charm and location. Upon arrival we found our host was extremely hospitable, helped us arrange reservations, and set a wonderful breakfast in the mornings. We enjoyed our visit very much! Thank you Sandrine!

A great location for visiting the D-Day region at a leisurely pace. The shower was amazing too !! No wifi but we were able to just get enough reception on our phones FYI. Our host was super nice and friendly !

Visited in late April 2023, 3 adults in 1 very cute room above a storage garage. Such a quaint and serene place. It is quiet and peaceful, in the countryside, a little off the beaten track, near to Juno Beach. You can imagine what it might have been like as a Canadian soldier landing in the area in 1944. The owner, Sandrine, is a lovely lady and creates a beautiful space for her guests to enjoy. Breakfast and coffee were wonderful. Room was very nicely decorated in a country-chic sort of way, and the beds were very comfortable. Shower had great water pressure with hot water. Lovely clean bathroom. Overall - what a wonderful little gem of a bed and breakfast. We hope to return someday!

Absolutely superb perfect host friendly a beautiful place to stay very tranquil would highly recommend.

Nous avons été reçues très chaleureusement avec beaucoup de bienveillance pour le chien de ma fille. La chambre très spacieuse et très cocooning. Un super petit déjeuner avec des confitures maison. Il y a possibilité d'un plateau repas le soir sur réservation.
