Easy walk to downtown. Shops, coffee shops and groceries nearby. We stayed in the Burma suite which is 2 large rooms, one with a queen bed and the other with kitchen, TV, and table and chairs looking out over the garden. Though large the bedroom is sp****ly furnished and dimly lit at night partly due to missing bulb in one of the lamps. Suite has lots of natural light in the daylight hours. Kitchen is well equipped including a coffee grinder, but unfortunately no coffee maker of any kind. We requested a coffee maker by e-mail (no staff on premises) but none materialized over our 3 day stay. The couch is uncomfortable for watching TV - more like a padded bench. I wouldn't say it is a cozy place but it was clean, bed very comfortable and overall our stay was pleasant enough.
