Very nice boutique hotel, each room have a unic design. We loved the breakfast and the afternoon tea we definitely feel like home! Management is super helpful and kind definitely recommend it

This a small, quaint and a bit funky (in a good way) historic hotel. Room is comfortable. Breakfast outstanding. Staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Not luxury or modern, and that is part of its charm. Would stay here again. Restaurants and bars close by as is the Museum Quarter.

When taxi brought me to the address I gave at taking car at the airport, I thought that the taxi driver made a mistake and delivered me to the wrong place. This building and the entrance looks like a regular apartments house. And it is right ! But part of this building is occupied by beautiful, boutique hotel. Each room has a different name and style. I can recommend you the one which I stayed in which is called Helga’s room on the second floor. Very bright, spacious with quiet and efficient AC. Maybe bathroom could be a bit larger, but this was not a major issue. There is a very classic bar in the hotel and very yummy breakfast in the morning ! All major attractions are within 15-20 minutes walk, but it is much more quiet at the street where hotel stays, versus more centrally located hotels. Last but not least - the hotel staff !!! Amazing, friendly service with a smile. Bravo !

A very good hotel, with a variety of art works throughout. Very high quality breakfast with local organic food and outstanding bread in beautiful venue. Very good service. Nice tea with tasty cake in the afternoon.

Best arrival welcome. Ever. Great location within walking distance of city centre. And quiet neighbourhood. Super nice rooftop terrace and in general very friendly staff to make the stay memorable and recommendable.

The Hotel Alstadt is walking distance to nearly everything in Vienna. The rooms are nice (everyone is different) and very artsy. The breakfast is fabulous. Tea and cake (and a candy assortment) in the afternoon was lovely. The staff was so friendly. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel.

We’ve liked everything about this hotel. The design, the friendliness and hospitality of the staff, the abundant breakfast, the tea time buffet (with cake and sweets), the cosy rooms with eye for detail and the free bikes. Highly recommended!

We found the Hotel Altstadt to be one of the best we have stayed in. Quietly understated but with great style and elegance. The staff could not have been more helpful, polite and friendly. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We were pleased to see that the hotel has implemented some green options to promote sustainability. This is a really excellent hotel facility.

We look forward to coming back. The stuff is extremely service minded and professional. Best of Quality service. They respond immediately and strive for to fulfill any needs or requests. Very good location, walking distance to the center, approximately 20 minutes. I highly recommend this hotel.
