This is a very beautiful place to stay, you will find a very friendly staff, very good food, a nice bar by the beach where you can enjoy drinks and gorgeous rooms. There is a place to do bbq and a swimming pool! I loved my stay. A must stay in Vilankulos

DO NOT STAY .We came for a couple of nights for a birthday celebration, we paid upfront USD 240, on the first day they knocked on our room door saying we had to leave because they overbooked the room and the other guests arrived. They made us move to the place next door however it was not a beach front cottage as we had paid for and no breakfast included either. We asked the staff if at least we could come from next door to their hotel for breakfast as we paid for it and they said NO. We end up getting a half refund and leaving. We questioned the manager why we were the ones who had to leave instead of the guests who arrived later as we were already unpacked our bags on the room and stayed the first night etc, they said they were important guests and we had to leave .

A few steps from the beach. (Try to book the beach units). Beautiful views, relaxing atmosphere, the best beach bar right on your doorstep. Roll from your bed, into the sea, then two steps to the bar. I just love this place. Remember that you are on holiday, so don’t expect a rush, your drink will find you. Will definitely be back.

Casa Cabana's rooms are beautifully decorated and extra care is taken for comfort! The beds and linen is top quality and the rooms well designed. Very comfortable stay with kids and without. The pool is magnificent and the view even more!

We went to Vilanculos in november for kitesurfing. Next to the beach there is a kitesurfing center with the world's best instructors Andre and Nima who can teach everything in a few days. They took us for a few hours downwind on the most beautiful waters in the area. We were also diving on a reef with turtles, dugong, dolphins, a whale shark and a million colorful fishes near Bazaruto island. A great place for a holiday, especially for people who like to relax in a place where there is no crowd. Nice local people and staff, especially Benny - the star of Vilanculo. His smile made my vacation the best in many years. Delicious breakfasts, fish and crabs for dinner overlooking the ocean , dancing on the tables untill sunrise are something we will miss in the middle of winter in Europe.Will definitely be back, so Benny, Andre and Nima see you soon. What a fantastic place to soak up the sun with sand under your feet and to enjoy the colourful sights and sounds of Vilanculos. The staff are friendly and helpful and Rob, the owner, was very entertaining. Highly recommended destination when visiting Mozambique!

Spent 2 wonderful nights - very impressed with everything. Room was great - best bed I have slept in possibly ever!! Staff are very helpful and food and service great. Very good location and value for money.

Excellent stay in fantastic locality. Right on the beach in comfortable rooms. Staff always willing to go the extra mile. Casbah bar great - best in Vilanculos in terms of locality. Clean swimming pool with pool loungers.

the experience here was very bad, we came the night before and the bartender refused to make cocktails for us stating that they “did not serve cocktails” but he was just trying to get us to leave cause we were the last customers, the next day, the attendance was worse, our food took hours to arrive (2 hours) and it wasn’t up to our expectations, the service was bad as we’d asked for things like ice and ketchup which we did not receive with no explanation. I’m very disappointed i believe the reviews are fake!
