the guest room we booked claimed to be 19 square meters but was far smaller than that. air con vent facing directly to the bed. the fan of the air con was not working properly, we could either turn on or off the air con. breakfast time till 9.30 and check out time is 10am. swimming pool opens at 9.30 - not very user friendly indeed.

We stayed at Hotel Mara for four nights whilst we visited my wife’s family. We booked a room with the sea view, which allowed us to watch the spectacular sunrises before falling back to sleep each morning. As it turned out, the room booking did not allow access to the pool or beach, which then cost about 18 euro a day extra. That was pretty different for us as just about every photo of the hotel had the pool included when you booked. This seems to be an Italy thing, so we paid the extra. You also had to wear a swim cap in the pool, which made for some humorous photos. Despite these few negatives, the place was superb, the staff so so friendly and helpful. They spoke enough English for us to get by. The huge positive was the hotel restaurant which was exceptionally good. Great food and great service. We would have eaten there every night had we not had the luxury of eating home made food with the wife’s family on a couple of nights. Thoroughly recommend staying here.

Nice hotel on the beach with a large swimming pool. Staff were really nice and helpful. Wi-Fi was great. You do need a car and there is onsite parking.

The staff were very helpful and kind. The room was very spacious, and the balcony was an added bonus! Being from the U.S., I was surprised to learn that there is a fee per person per day for the pool and a separate fee for the beach too! But overall, a great stay!

Hotel lovely and clean, staff extremely helpful , good breakfast .

Lovely property in a beauty location overlooking the sea. Kind and helpful staff. Big clean rooms. Comfy bed. My ONLY request/recommendation would be to have some small diabetic non-sugar option available for breakfast - cheese, ham, egg - anything non-sugary. Otherwise, a perfect stay!

The hotel is beautiful with a private beach. It is spotlessly clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is fantastic with so much choice. Lovely big beds and a balcony in the basic rooms. Towels in the bathroom high quality. Everything works .

The staff were very accommodating

Whe stay there for one night and that was ok the hotel has two buildings and 2 Pools. It is clean and COVID Rules are good the beach is clean breakfast is normal and the restaurant its for Italians normal sure not great the service is Below standart in the restaurant when you order somthing its take a long time before you get it. The manager for the restaurant speeks good ingles that was fine. In the center between the 2 hotels there is a small building that has lunch and drinks On the street of the hotel in the corner at the bridge stands a wooden restaurant whe eat there that’s very good
