Loved this hotel! Beautiful beach, helpful staff, clean rooms, lush surroundings, and a nice breakfast. We had an excellent dinner at the hotel too! We hope to come back here.

What a wonderful place. I absolutely loved staying here. From the moment you arrive the staff are so welcoming without being intrusive. The place is spotless. My favourite area was the lounge that looks over to the pool. It was as if I was transported to the Caribbean. The plants and trees gave it a very stylish ambiance. The food was incredible. Beautiful breakfasts with anything you could need to a simple but delightful dinner. The beach is 1 minute away and is stunning. The small town is 15 minutes walk and has everything you may need plus a few shops for Sardinian souvenirs. I loved this place.

This fab hotel is well placed right on the beach at Simius Playa, only 20 minutes easy safe walk from the centre of Villasimius, ( bus stop directly outside hotel if you don't want to walk). The service is fantastic in all areas - reception, restaurant, bar and room clean. The beach is beautiful - the hotel has its own area with a beach bar serving drinks, sandwiches, snacks, and ice creams. There is also a shower and changing room, and the hotel is so close that it's easy to pop back to your room if you prefer. We took half board, which was a great option since the restaurant is really good. Lots of fresh fish, a big menu to choose from, and each day a further two dishes on each course to choose from. The lady sommelier can really help you wirh a range of good local wines that truly compliment your food. The breakfast buffet is really good, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cerals, continental selection, toast, and lots of sweet treats, but don't expect a 'full english' you are in Italy! Eggs can be ordered fresh, and all types if coffee snd teas catered for ( they even offered me fresh mint from the garden in my tea). We stayed in room 39, the suite in the annexe . Great air con, one large balcony with easy chairs , a sunbed, and drying rack. Walk in wardrobe, large bathroom, large lounge area with fridge, tv, settee, table and 2 chairs plus tea/ coffee facilities. Second TV in bedroom, with kingsize bed. Very quiet , no disturbance. The hotel bar and pool area is very relaxing, with lots of different little seating areas and great service, including a complimentary snack plate with pre dinner drinks. This is the perfect hotel for a chilled lazy holiday at the beach.

I very rarely post a review but the Simius Playa absolutely deserved one!! A little slice of paradise in this wonderful part of Sardinia. The hotel is quite small which adds a family feel too it with all the staff super friendly & helpful & in particular Barbara who not only gave us a room upgrade (it was our anniversay) but was on hand to recommend restaurants & give other helpful advice. We loved the colonial decor & dining a couple of evenings in the restaurant was lovely & so romantic (the waiters are great). As we are not really pool people we hoped the beach would be worth it & boy was it worth it!!! Its as good as any of our previous caribbean trips, super clean & golden sands & clear turquoise sea - i think we will miss this the most! Needless to say we will be back! Thank you Simius Playa xx

First of all, WOW! This is a gorgeous place and the service is impeccable. This was just a last minute, one night stay for us in May 2023 due to our flight arriving too late for us to drive to our intended accommodation in Northern Sardinia. We also chose this place because it had parking on it's property, which other accommodations did not. We are so glad we stopped here. First impressions are everything. The Reception staff were wonderful, friendly and efficient. Once we arrived, the staff directed us to a lovely lounge and offered us welcome snacks and drinks. It was exactly what we needed after a full day of travelling and crazy navigation driving the rental car. After the relaxing break, we were checked in quite quickly and was provided an upgraded room looking out to the pool. Very nice treat! The room was clean, beautiful and large. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep. The bathroom was lovely and that shower head spray had the perfect pressure. A pleasure staying in this room. The dinner and breakfast meals at the hotel were absolutely delicious! One of the best meals we have had at a hotel. However, the shining stars also go to the Dining staff. All of them are so attentive, accommodating and answered all our questions. This is customer service at its finest! Definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Wonderful hotel on the beach in Villasimius, Sardinia. The dining plan for dinner was well worth it, amazing chef and dining. Service was outstanding throughout the hotel, beach, and restaurant. Convenient location for exploring city on foot or by bus to nearby town and additional beaches.

Too expensive for what it offers. There is nothing special to charge such a high rate. The location is good, but the beach service such as the umbrella and chair are not included in such high rate, and it is not clearly stated anywhere. Breakfast is included, but you need to pay extra for a fresh orange juice when you are paying a rate of more than U$300/night. Not reasonable. The highlight is the service at the hotel bar, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. The service at the front desk not the best, specially when the guy is the one talking to you. I forgot the name. The location is good, but you absolutely need a car since it is isolated from everything.

Just returned from a 9 night stay at this wonderful hotel & have to say it is faultless 'in our opinion'. This is the fourth holiday we have had in Sardinia in the past 5 years & must say , this hotel has been the best so far . All the staff were brilliant Tonino & Giovanni in the restaurant are both brilliant as are all of the staff . If you have the budget go for a Junior suite , we had room no 9 , two bathrooms , lounge & separate bedroom & huge "his & her wardrobes '& i believe the largest balcony at the hotel , fabulous views to the side over the hills & views to the front overlooking the lush gardens pool & sea " it is a good room "on level 2 , The ambience in the lounge areas are very are very plush 1920s style art deco , great for a pre dinner drink . It has no lifts & i guess that is what separates it from a 5 star hotel , but as said all rooms are spread over two floors & this was not a problem to us .The hotel has its own area of sun beds on a stunning beach which are cordoned off & you are allocated loungers & towels for the period of your stay , so no rushing down in the morning to secure a bed , So full praise to the Hotel , good food & a great location .If you are looking for a Lively resort , this is not for you , if you want a laid back break you have found the right place "Loved it "
