ホテル オセアニック(Hotel Oceanic)

Sitting on a rock overlòking the Pacific is greatest asset of hotel. One must walk or bus to neighbouring cituez if without a car....super vidtas along the way. One has breakfast delivered every day, as there is no dining room. Not a bad way to begin the day by overlooking the ocean.

This place is well past it’s sell by date. While the rooms with ocean view are very nice, the breakfast is miserable and the service on the bar is terrible. Imagine having no Sauvignon Blanc in Chile. The corniche location. Is a nightmare as the road is essentially a motorway.

Superb stay at Oceanic Hotel directly hanging over the Pacific Ocean. Incredible views and sounds from the spacious and modern rooms and common areas. Thank you so much to all the hotel's staff that made every effort to make our stay such a memorable occasion. Special thanks to Benjamin from the concierges desk, who took care of every little detail in advance to ensure our full enjoyment with no worries at all. We can't wait to be back.

An older hotel that has been very well kept. Very clean, excellent staff, magnificent location, right on the seaside cliffs. A short drive or Uber trip into Valparaiso. No restaurants, but a nice breakfast brought to your room each morning.

The hotel seemed safe and clean but not super clean. nice ocean view. decor dated, obvious signs of many repairs to ceiling. bed was decent and bedding was comfortable. water pressure and temperature in shower were excellent! hair dryer was a breath away from dead. wifi was not great and no secure password. it was essentially open wifi with no security. this was a big issue for me. tv had spotty functionality, probably related to spotty wifi. Staff were generally friendly with no issues to report. overall rating of adequate with a few highs and lows. 3 out of 5.

The hotel did not tell us that the pool was closed before we reserved our room. The bar was not open either. Hotel is in very inconvenient area.

We found the Hotel Oceanic back in 2007; loved it and decided that we would go back, again. Well, our opinion has not changed. The location is fantastic with great views of the ocean and of the night lights of Vina del Mar. The rooms are large and comfortable and the sound of the ocean waves, right outside our windows, are like ambient noise for us. Even though they had to be cautious, due to the pandemic, their breakfasts were very enjoyable -- served either in your room or in the dining area. As far as price, a tremendous value for the money. This is a boutique hotel that is worth staying at anytime you are in Vina del Mar.

This is not a 4 star hotel. The condition of the rooms and overall facility would reflect more of a 2 or 3 star hotel. Our window shade was broken and would not open. It was noisy on a busy street and difficult to sleep. You could easily hear noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms. The rooms are basic and without frill. They want to serve you breakfast in your room, but the rooms are tiny and do not have tables. I later discovered this is because the dining room is small and can not accommodate all of the guests. We asked to eat in the finish room, as did two other groups of guests but the tables were not cleaned when we went down there. The breakfast has instant powdered coffee — NOT something a 4 star hotel should ever do. To check out, we had to wait for housekeeping to “check the room” and make sure you didn’t take anything from the minibar. A 4 star hotel should trust their guests and let you have an automatic and speedy checkout. On the positive side, the pool is nice and the view of the sea is beautiful. Cost was 99 USD. Not worth the price.

My stay at this hotel was wonderful, I totally recommend it. Beautiful views and above all very comfortable. I didn't like the treatment of the receptionist very much but after that, everything is perfect. I adored him
