ボルケーノ ビレッジ エステーツ(Volcano Village Estates)

Cute and super convienent to Volcano National, but it left a lot to be desired for the price tag, but strangely, lodging is very limited in Volcano (maybe the NAtional Parks will get their game on someday and build a lodge like they did in Zion) Staff was very friendly. The space is in need of updating and general repairs; toilet did not like to fully flush, carpet and decor is worn. We knew the odds of rain when we ventured there, but hoped for a bit more as far as a bed and breakfast...there were no dryers available for drying rain soaked hiking clothes and the breakfast is delivered to your room and stored in the fridge before you arrive. Our junior sweet had one (broken) chair and no table so the four of us were left to sit on the beds to eat breakfast. The junior suite offers a large porch with a table and chairs but it is uncovered so for us it was an unusabe space (screened in porch would've made this pace 100x's better) Fortunatey we had a deck of cards with us to past the time as the larger home was not open for guest use. It was the one time on our trip where I would've welcomed a TV for a movie night as the rain was relentless and had us in our room by 5P...

We liked the cottage very much. It was cozy and the bed was great! We enjoyed the gas fire and the view of the grounds.

If you plan to visit the beautiful Volcanoes town and National Park, look no further than the Volcano Village Estates. It is a charming tropical paradise with gorgeous grounds, impeccably clean and cozy rooms, and a staff that goes above and beyond. The homemade breakfast delivered to your room the night before is delicious and gives you the freedom to start your day whenever you’d like. The bed and bedding is extremely comfortable, and the rooms are well-sized. When you look out your windows, you will see lush tropical plants that complete the tropical cottage experience. But the most impressive quality of this gem B&B is the staff. Lafayette, the manager, embodies the spirit of Aloha. When my wife told her she was pregnant and loved French toast, she made her an extra order of it for our growing baby, and left a handwritten note in our room with a beautiful bag of gifts, including a book addressed to our future son. We were so touched - it was a highlight of our trip. Do not miss this place!!

We were greeted warmly and with gorgeous lei’s. Very well kept and clean place. Just yards off the main road but feels like your own private hideaway in the forest. Very inviting and well designed cabins. 3 minutes to the volcano park entrance and restaurant.

Volcano Village Estates was an amazing experience for both myself and my wife. We totally enjoyed and were invigorated by our stay. The sounds at night were therapeutic, the breakfasts were convenient and delicious. the close proximity to the Volcano National Forrest made early morning rise easy for enjoying sunrises at the end of the Chain of Craters drive. Beautiful.
