Forest Inn (Wanning Riyue Bay Surfing)

It's the second time that I am at the Ri Yue Bay. So I knew what I wanted: a hotel at the sea side. That's it. Really close to the beach. There's a surf rental directly next to the hotel where I rented my long board for 100 Yuan. Everything is fine

The Forest Inn at Wanning Riyue Bay Surfing is a nice choice for travellers who love surfing, swimming, the beach and exploring. The hotel’s location was ideal, very close to all the restaurants and surf venues. It was definitely one of the highlights. The bedroom was cozy with a nice balcony. Also, the afternoon tea was delicious.

The hotel is old but renovated. It is next to the highway, earplugs are recommended for the rooms facing the highway. The location is great, next to the beach. The price is a bit high for the quality.

Perfect location right on Riyue bay, after partying you can literally walk to the hotel which is advantage because transportation is really scarce in Riyue bay unless you have a bike. But to be safe don’t drink and drive just book a hotel nearby. I also loved the decoration of this hotel it really feels like a forest.

This is hands down the most hospitable hotel in Riyuewan. The staff at reception are exceptionally friendly and very efficient. My Chinese isn't very good, but the receptionist added my wechat and we communicated through this. The hotel provides a cart that picked us up at the hotel entrance and dropped us off at the restaurant we went to for dinner. They also provided us with an umbrella because it was raining. I will always choose this hotel when I visit riyuewan.

Nice location but RiyueWan is not the same as it uses to be

Excellent location across from the surfing beach and Shaka Surf (where you can get lessons from beginners upwards). The rooms are very spacious and the hotel is spotless. Rooms are washed each day and fresh linen is provided daily. Breakfast is generous but more suited to local tastes. Fruit, eggs, noodles, and coffee is available also but only at breakfast time which is a pity. Rooms come with a kettle but bring your own coffee/milk if you need caffeine. Staff are really friendly and helpful though and the general feel is relaxed and welcoming. Cable tv is provided and a/c and fans are in rooms, as well as small balcony for drying wet swim clothes. Lots of food options nearby including a supermarket if you prefer noodles at home.

The floor in the room was very dirty. There is a balcony but no chairs. The pool was nice, but some sun beds would make it more relaxing. Good location close to the beach.
