Our experience was generally good with excellent service by the club lounge staff and the valet staff.
We were however significantly disappointed at having to wait about 6 hours to have our room de-feathered (including making 4 calls to the front desk and waiting up until 1145pm). Discussing the issue with the front desk manager was of little value as his response was they were "reviewing the process to see what went wrong". Not what one would expect from a premium hotel in downtown DC.
Further, on checkout, they had only one staff member (a wonderful lady who was doing her best) working the front desk at 1230 (peak check-out time). The line easily had more than 10 people waiting and it took us more than 15mins to get checked out.
Overall, very poor front desk management and very poor customer engagement on housekeeping matters.
