Classy hotel, well situated with friendly and efficient staff. Dinner was well executed offering both indoor, patio and bar seating depending on your preference. There is a library room with a fireplace to relax with a drink or coffee in the morning. Also a nice gym downstairs including Peloton bikes. Definitely a step up from the big hotel chains and a lovely place to stay while visiting Washington DC.

Small rooms no sauna/pool. No coffee machine in the room. For me not a 5 star. Very expensive for what u get.we used the facilities at the university club across the street since the hotel has nothing itself: dirty and smelly. Awful is the only term that fits here. That is not really a five star experience. Staff nice and friendly. Service: found a half empty mini bar which was never restored. The ice bucket was full with smelly water. Never had ice in there and second day just vanished. Was taken out. A normal little bar. The Restaurant was ok, but also expensive, had breakfast and they do a la carte. A pot of regular Coffee for us two was $ 24! Overall the location is nice! Few blocks from the white house. Iwe payed $550 a night and if you dont expect a 5 star experience for that then its fine. First room for that money on the 2. floor next to elevator. Tiny window. Asked for a change. They put us in that room and let us wait 15 min to change to floor 6. where we had a better window. Aircon old and noisy. I wouldn't return for the value u get for ur money. There are many alternatives.

The Jefferson is beautiful and the rooms are very clean. However, didn’t know I needed to go across the street to use the pool. Had to ask concierge to get ice and the restaurants are very expensive. However, everyone at the Jefferson was very helpful and friendly!

There is an iPad provided in the room for ordering room service. I ordered but it didn’t come so I called the front desk. I was told the iPad doesn’t currently work for ordering food to the room - that my order was not received. I was told I should have called in my order, and the kitchen is now closed and cannot accommodate my request. Perhaps if the iPad doesn’t work it shouldn’t be placed in the room? I wasted 45 minutes waiting. Very disappointing

The hotel was beautiful with great customer service. The room was clean, comfortable bed and beddings and with all the appropriate amenities.

The service is out of the world, even though the rooms are small and out dated . There is not that great luxurious fell. The rooms , linen, robs are out dated however the service will cover for this. The staff cleaned our room twice a day, i will still stay there. The service is EVERYTHING
