Janice and Brent were wonderful landlords! The breakfast menus were complete and excellent. The calories we gained have helped us to tour Te Papa Museum, Waterfront and surrounding areas with walking distance of circa 9km! The landlords advised us where the best to park our rental car and interesting places to visit. Thanks Janice and Brent!

Clean, tidy, comfortable and nice place to views

We simply loved the place. Probably the best place we stayed in NZ and it was mainly due to the lovely host Janice and Brent. The location is superb if you have a car. In a nice locality and on a hill top overlooking the Pacific. We had a great view from our room as well as from the place we had breakfast. Room was snug but tastefully decorated with Victorian furniture and superb linen. The toilet was a bit small but again quite functional. The vibe was too good and that made all the difference. We felt AT HOME. Of course, Janice takes care of all small aspects and one has to stay and leave the room in ship shape which is our forte anyway, so we gelled on that front a lot. Janice was also so friendly that she asked us to go out after putting our clothes for washing and she put them on the clothes line very neatly. We were touched when Janice made breakfast for us and cooked omelette as we liked. The breakfast was again like home and Brent was a great host with all his chats as Janice cooked away. Nothing that we can say for not liking anything

We stayed for one night while passing thru to the south island. Because we had to leave so early we weren't able to have breakfast so I can't comment on that. The hosts were pleasant, the location was nice and the view was beautiful. It just felt like it needed an update and a deep clean. (Tops of light switches, exhaust fan in the bathroom all needed to be cleaned) Plus no ac or fan in the room, so it was pretty warm to try to sleep. The closet was a storage area (including a whole other mattres), so it just felt kind of jumbled, like you were in a random family members guest room rather than a professional b&b. Nothing was really horrible, but it wasn't really special either. We were glad it was only for one night.

I stayed for 2 nights at this accommodation while in Wellington. The views over the bay and the pacific are really stunning! I had them even from my bed... so beautiful! The room was very clean and nice. It takes about 20 minutes to the center/ferrys by car, so it's not located in the middle of Wellington (wich is good, because is much quiter, and you have those amazing views). The breakfast was good, and the host very friendly and helpful. I do recommend to stay here!
