On site parking made it easier for us. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

A huge thank you to you and your staff for looking after us so well at the Trefoil County Lunch. I have heard from a number of the ladies and many said as we were leaving what a lovely meal it was and how well you all looked after us. I would especially like to thank the staff for the care they obviously took with my dietary needs ensuring my meal (Gluten, dairy and onion free) was the same as others in the party and did not draw attention to my special dietary need. It was such a joy to eat out and not be very ill afterwards. Your chef is to be congratulated, as are you. The care and attention to detail was exceptional and much appreciated, Please do feel free to share this email with the Manager, Chef and staff. Thank you so much once again.

Clean and comfy room with traditionally decoration, kittle, tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits included with is a nice touch. Iron and board in the room with is helpful. Soundproofing isn't the best but only to be expected.

Honestly we drove up and nearly drove away it was so drab and looks appalling. Clearly housing use and the sound of screaming babies from open windows we said lets just see the room as we wanted to be near Hatfield house - which it isn't really. The room was a small block next door called the peter room and it was ok. But why make it a twin room and have two towels etc but only 1 hot chocolate & 1 biscuits?? Then the noise....... there was a note on the table saying ask to switch rooms as they are aware of loud noise from next door due to it being a through door next to the tv. We could hear every single sound like they were in the same room wven when they were clearly patting a babies back to wind it. You shouldn't be able to hear things to that degree. We then turned on the air conditioning unit which is a stand alone unit snd super noisy but at least it drowned out next door. The beds are like sleeping on the floor and the shower was a walk-in disabled shower that does not drain very well and the entire bathroom floor gets wet so lovely going to the toilet after getting wet feet and nearly slipping over each time. I would rather sleep in my car than do this again it was absolutely awful. This is a truly honest and frank opinion of our stay.

Not much to say really. A charmless, personality void sort of place. Aesthetically, it's not a great looking place. A sort of 1950's maternity hospital look about it. The place felt like it was closed. The majority of the chairs and tables were stacked up in corners. Staff on site were rarely seen. It felt a bit like an an abandoned ghost hotel. The room was average in size. It was clean and the bathroom was spotless. Bit annoying it didn't have a soft-close toilet seat (being picky now). The Air con was a free-standing machine in the corner which when on, was noisy and rattled. I could barely watched TV, and certainly couldn't sleep with it on. Didn't attempt breakfast, it didn't look that appealing. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not.

We stayed in Hurst - a suit with a small kitchen unit and seating area. The main disappointment was the bed. At a standard 4.6" it felt cramped (used to a ft) but the main issue is that you rolled into the middle and therefore crashing into one another. Also, the temperature was not ideal as the quilt was to narrow for the bed. It barely touched both sides.

I recently spent 4 days here with a group of friends and can’t speak highly enough about the experience. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for them which is so refreshing to see. The quality, choice and presentation of food was exceptional. Thank you Homestead Hotel for making us feel welcome and looking after us so well.

Just spent three nights at this hotel crafting with friends. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our crafting room was spacious though could have done with a bit more light. The food was the best I have encountered for a long time. Varied, plentiful and absolutely delicious. Will definitely be staying here again.

I have just returned from a four day event at Homestead Court. What a fantastic experience - from start to finish. The booking system was a breeze, the manager very accommodating, and the staff were the most friendly and helpful I’ve ever encountered. Nothing was too much trouble in making us comfortable and catering to our every requirement - Special thanks to Pawel. The food was a-maz-ing. Plentiful, varied, imaginative and delicious. Thank you Chef and Sous Chef. The bedrooms were well-equipped, clean and comfortable. All in all a fabulous time was had by all and we look forward to staying again next year.
