酒店服務很差，要求添加被子時，服務員拿臟被子敷衍，要求更換時，竟然把被子扔在地上，並在地上操作更換被罩，服務態度極差，服務操作極其不規範。

This hotel is just so lovely. We visited as part of a business trip and met with some friends for dinner in the restaurant. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and the room was tasteful, comfortable and had everything that we needed. The toiletries were of a high standard and everything throughout the hotel was immaculately clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable with high quality linen. All of the staff that we met were friendly and professional. Dinner was excellent. The food was presented beautifully and each course was delicious. Excellent standards, but without any of the stuffiness that you sometimes experience in such a beautiful setting. Mo who took our dinner order was so attentive, professional and helpful - and he made our evening great fun. I was concerned when we first went into the restaurant that it may have been a little too formal for our get together with friends but that didn't prove to be the case at all. It was just perfect. I'm sorry to say that I didn't take any photographs. The building is so beautiful and unique inside and out. I'll definitely return on my next business or leisure trip to the midlands.

Last night was our first visit to New Hall Hotel & Spa. The property and grounds are very impressive, especially viewed from the approach road. Our room (Albatross) in the old wing, was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately our experience of the dining facilities was disappointing. I am a member of their group Privilege Award scheme and had booked a DB&B package. While seated in the bar, we were given restaurant menus however shortly afterwards a staff member hurried back to our table stating that we couldn’t order from that menu as we were on a “package “ and handed us an abridged menu instead. Given there were other guests within earshot, we found this unnecessary and embarrassing. Our meals were satisfactory but by no means excellent and the atmosphere in the restaurant was continually disturbed by a very large party dining in an adjoining room who became increasingly loud as the evening and drinking progressed. For some reason none of the staff felt it worthwhile to close the door and try to contain the noise for the benefit of other diners? When they did finally disperse, a member of staff commented that finally we could have some peace!! Our breakfasts this morning both arrived cold so plates were left half eaten yet nobody enquired if there were any problems. Based on our experience, we would be unlikely to return.

This was my 3rd visit to New Hall having previously stopped last September .I struggle with my mobility and the staff go above and beyond to both help me and make me feel welcome . Beautiful hotel & Grounds , the food is out of this world but it has to be said the hotels biggest asset is its staff. Special mentions this time to Pedro in the restaurant, Sarah on reception and Emma in the bar who all enhanced my visit with their kindness , knowledge and the fact that they all went out of their way for a chat when I was visiting on my own. I look forward to coming back in June where I have taken advantage of a special offer. Finally just to say this hotel & its staff have had such an impact on me I will not consider stopping anywhere else . Yours Sincerely Mr Richard Chapman

Visited Newhall for a Sunday lunch yesterday to celebrate my 70th birthday with friends. We spoke with Mike the Restaurant Manager prior to our visit to ensure a few things we wanted were available and to note that one of the guests is Coeliac and needs a gluten free menu. All I can say is everything went to plan, we were pleasantly greeted and our requests met. The food was to a high standard and plenty of it, including gluten free options, compliments to the Chef. However, the star of the day was Pedro who served us and advised on food and wine options throughout, what a pleasant and welcoming character, a real credit to Newhall Hotel. We highly recommend and will return in the near future.

What a stunningly beautiful building and grounds. So well kept and immaculately clean everywhere. I haven’t experienced such fabulous service in a long time, if ever. Literally nothing was too much trouble starting with the lovely Kris who greeted us in the car park and insisted on taking our luggage and opening every door for us. Sarah on reception went above and beyond by taking us on a tour and showing us the Grand Chamber and she was so knowledgeable on the history of the building. The delightful Mike in the restaurant who presented me with a black pudding challenge at breakfast to see if I could tell the difference between the normal and veggie one and then offered us a packed lunch for our onward journey. Keep up the good work guys. You’re all the best service providers I have ever encountered. I have never been so disappointed to leave somewhere and hope to make my way back sometime for a longer stay.

Wow what a lovely hotel! I only stayed one night but my room was very comfortable, quiet and spacious with a small sitting area with coffee table. The bathroom was also a good size. But what absolutely makes this hotel are the staff - without exception every single one of them was friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble - I must mention the lovely guy who helped me with my case to my room (I am so sorry I cannot remember his name) - he came back especially later with some information on the history of New Hall. He was an absolute credit to the hotel. I had a lovely nights stay and would recommend.

If we could give this hotel a 6 star, we would. We booked two standard double rooms for two nights on a bed and breakfast basis. We had booked this hotel for a place to stay while visiting an elderly relative in Ashby de La Zouch (which is a lovely town about an half an hour drive from the hotel). What really makes this hotel so special is the out of this world service received from employees, they really couldn't do enough for you. They even made a box up for our long drive home (which was thoroughly enjoyed). All the staff were very friendly and pleasant, but a special shout-out to Emma (who served us in the evening at the lounge) and Hannah (who served us at breakfast both mornings). Everything about this hotel was excellent. The traditional (but charming) rooms were immaculately clean and spacious, and the food was just incredible at both breakfast and at dinner. We could not fault this hotel one bit, and can't wait to come back in June!

Had the pleasure of staying overnight at this wonderful place, with amazing grounds, for a friends 60th birthday treat. From start to finish it was a 5* experience. I cannot fault the accommodation, ambience and the 10/10 polite, friendly and professional staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Topped off with a wonderful relaxing day using the spa facilities, a heavenly massage, day completed with an afternoon tea, before heading home. Thank you to everyone for an excellent 48hrs…..we will be back 👌
