When we arrived at the property, it was very noisy and smelled horrible due to a plumbing problem that was being worked on. The staff had tried to cover the smell with too much Lysol.
When we got to the room, the shower was dirty. None of the furniture or sink had been wiped out. They were all dirty. The phone in the room didn’t work. The air conditioning was blowing hot air and the phone in the room was broken. Had to call the front desk with my personal cell phone.
When we called the front desk and spoke to the hotel manager, she was extremely rude and barely spoke any English. I asked to be moved to another room and was told no that there was nothing wrong with my room. The hotel “ manager” was very rude and continued to speak over myself and my mother when we called to complain about the room. Completely unprofessional I have never dealt with a hotel manager that was so rude and unaccommodating in all of my travels this had to be the worst experience. The “hotel manager“ came to the room pounding on the door and tried to make me delete pictures off of my phone I took of all the dirty and broken things in the room and tried to force her way into the room while yelling at me .
Ended up having to call ******* and the “hotel manager” would not refund or do anything to help out. ******* ended up giving us a credit for the night onto our account. We immediately left the hotel and rebooked at the Hilton down the street, which was amazing.
